Helen is the Winner of Big Brother 15 !

15 Aug, 2014 - 10:10 PM by Calderyon
Helen has become the winner of Big Brother after receiving the most votes to win in today´s Big Brother 15 Final out of the 6 finalists. Helen has thus become the first female winner of Big Brother UK, since it´s transfer from Channel 4 to Channel 5.

Helen received boos throughout the final, so her win could be labeled as somewhat of a surprise, even though polls and bookies predicted her to do well.

Helen arrived in the house on day 1 with with Christopher, Winston, Mark, Steven, Kimberly, Danielle, Matthew, Pauline and Tamara. She received a pass to the final from Pauline on day 2 making her immune from being evicted all series long. This was her first public vote.

After her exit from the house, she received a mixed reaction, most of them being boos with a few cheers mixed in.

Congratulations to her for the win !!!

Big Brother 2014 winner Helen Wood's interview:

Helen left the house, the winner of Big Brother 2014! Emma started the interview by asking Helen how she felt about winning and Helen said: ‘It’s a lie!’ Helen went on to say that she was shocked and that she thought Ashleigh was the winner.

Emma then asked her if she hadn’t had the pass to the final did she think she would be sat here and Helen replied: ‘No, I think I would have gone in the first or second week.’

Emma called Helen one of the most controversial, explosive Housemates Big Brother has had. Helen then watched a VT of her arguments with other Housemates and she admitted that she was over the top and out of order on many occasions but did say she was reacting to other Housemates’ remarks but was quite embarrassed.

Emma said that Helen seemed to calm down in the middle of the series and Helen said: ‘I had to change.’ Helen added that she tried to make friends in the house with ‘certain people’ but they made it impossible.

Emma asked Helen how she was going to change and Helen admitted: ‘I can’t speak to people like that.’ Helen added that she needs to learn to bite her tongue and that she can’t be as ‘crude’ as she has been.

On her relationship with Ashleigh, Helen admitted they were both ‘strong characters.’

She was then asked about her relationship with Ash and although she admitted that he was ‘gorgeous’ she insisted they were just best friends.

My jaw hit the floor I have never been so shocked at any reality tv result before. I'm happy for her but really wanted Ashleigh to win and I voted for her to win. I feel Ashleigh would have won if Helen didn't have the pass as she would have been out ages ago. But Helen did make the series and went on a real journey in there and I'm very pleased. Well done for her! May have to put her in my top 5 female housemates of all time

She was briefed to go up to Pauline on the first night and talk about that she wanted to foster children, this was something that Pauline would respect and a reason to choose Helen on the first night.

Pauline's entry VT came across as the most pleasant person and just about everyone was cheering for her the most when they went in and voted her Power Housemate on first impressions.

Helen was always gonna get that free pass and she was always gonna win, she could act anyway she wanted because she was in on it.

It was so close only 1% in it, yeah course it was.
