Jade Goody has started planning her own funeral.
The reality TV star joked that she should have a wreath in the shape of a Marmite jar - because she is either loved or hated.
Goody has also cut her hair to a short crop in preparation for chemotherapy, saying: "I'm going to look like a boiled egg!"
The former Big Brother contestant, who has been given a 50-50 chance of survival, said that without the course of radiotherapy and chemotherapy she
would be dead by Christmas.
She told OK! magazine: "It (the haircut) makes me feel less of a woman. (But) I don't want to wake up one morning and find clumps of hair all over
my bed."
She added: "Most people plan their weddings. But I'm planning my funeral. Some people say they don't want people crying, but I want people to cry
over me. And I don't want anyone to have a booze up when I'm dead. They should have a cup of tea and be crying. I'd want to have an open funeral
and let everyone who wanted to come along."
The mother of Bobby, five, and Freddy, three, said she would never allow the event to be filmed on TV, telling the magazine: "I know I have lived
most of my life in front of the cameras, but that would be sick."
She said: "I've never been a God person, but now I pray every time I go to bed and say stuff like, 'Let me see my children grow'."
Goody was on the Indian version of Big Brother when she discovered she had cervical cancer.
The Bermondsey-born star jetted home after show producers called her to the diary room to break the devastating news. She had to undergo a
hysterectomy after learning her cancer had spread to her womb.

It's so devastating, I've always admired Jade, I'm a huge fan and she is one of my idols (say what you want). I just got her new autobiography
today where she says that she had cancer for two years before they noticed!

I feel really sorry for her, although I think it's a bit sad how she keeps going onto TV and stuff to talk about it. If it was me I'd definitely
want to just stay at home with my kids I think.
I'm not saying that she's doing it primarily for attention, but I just think it's a bit sad that she feels the need to keep announcing things to
the press, it says a lot about how she feels about her life and so on
sex.

I admire that everytime something bad happens to her she manages to bounce back.
1.Mother looses the use of right arm when Jade was five and Jade has to become her primary carer
2.Sinks into a serious depression due to the nation being tricked by papers - who ferociously misquoted her - claiming she is a racist.
3.Boyfriend gets sent to jail for more than a year less than a month after she was diagnosed with cancer, which it was later revealed to have been in
her body for more than TWO years before they noticed despite her having regular tests.
Not to mention that she managed to turn the nation round on their opinion after she was evicted in 2002 when she had been branded a pig and a minger.
The same girl who was a pig and had hate campaigns against her had four successful TV shows, two perfumes, two books and regular media coverage,
whilst being a single mother to two young boys.
THAT is why I admire her.

Did you watch Celebrity Big Brother? She wasnt racist, but she bullied f**k out of Shilpa. She is a vile woman.

Yes I've watched it twice actually. Jade is a bully but through her own fault, due to her ****** up upbringing, I challenge to got through what she
had up until that point and not have some issues.
Plus Shilpa was a ****head who provoked attention. But that's just my opinion. To a degree, Jade was right, Shilpa did think she was better than
others and did think that she had a right to special treatment.

I know someone who went through Chemotherapy and it's no holiday camp I'll tell you. You feel sick all the time and more ill than you'll ever
know.
I feel sorry for Jade, I hope she gets through this.

No what I'm trying to say is that millions of women have got or been through cancer, but they dont get their ugly mugs plastered over the newspaper,
and sell stories to the magazines about how they are planning their funerals, I mean WTF? She needs to get a ****ing life!

I would never wish cancer on anyone. However, I feel Jade's conduct of late leaves a lot to be desired.
She says that nobody is good enough to look after her children except her. Yet, she was happy enough to leave them while she went off to film Big
Boss.
She says that she has to do constant interviews because she 'doesn't have a husband to support her' (this is 2008 Jade)! and she needs the money to
raise her children. Is she suggesting that Jeff Brazier does not support his children financially?
She says that she wants to protect her children from the truth about her illness. Fair enough - or at least it would be if she wasn't on the cover
of every single sodding magazine giving 'exclusive' interviews about it. If she really didn't want them to know, she ought to keep her mouth
shut.
Sorry if this sounds harsh - I do hope she makes a full recovery, but it doesn't mean I have to like her. I never have, and I'm not going to
suddenly turn around now and decide that she's alright after all. A lot of people believe she is lying about her cancer - personally I don't
believe that at all, but I certainly think she is behaving with no dignity whatsoever.
Gazbo - I'm not trying to start an argument with you, and I respect your opinions, but what is it about Jade that makes her your idol? I can't
understand what she has ever done to earn admiration from other people. (Edit - don't worry I have now read your other post where she answered that
question). I still don't understand why she is your idol though - what has she ever done to try and help anyone other than herself?

My father in law and his father both died of cancer. Another family member of mine has beaten cancer twice (and is thankfully fit and well
now). A friend of mine lost his wife to cervical cancer back in 2004, and another lady I know has breast cancer right now.
I hope Jade gets through it too. And I also hope that I never have to see her face on every single paper and magazine she can get in on as well. I
don't like her, don't trust her and think she has shown no dignity whatsoever.

Her on-off boyfriend you mean? The one who she said terrified her and was violent to her? That is of course before she described him as 'her rock'
(Jade, you aren't Princess Di, and you never will be). What was she doing with a no-mark who attacked a youngster with a snooker cue anyway? What
was she doing with the idiot who constantly two-timed her? And how do you think it must have made the childrens' father feel when she said 'Jack is
the one holding this family together now'?
And yes - in one interview Jade says that they missed her cancer for two years. In another, she has totally contradicted that.
And believe me - it wasn't her who turned the public opinion around (has she turned it around? She seems more unpopular than ever to me). It was a
very clever and very persistent PA agent.
Look - we all have problems in life. Jade has had more than her fair share. But it doesn't mean that she isn't a nasty person anyway. Sometimes
bad things happen to bad people. I don't think she deserves cancer; nobody does - but it doesn't make her a nice person because she has it.
