Why are people saying Girlband are so bad?

Theres not much you can really do with the song they were given. never really took any notice of them on Saturday because I was busy but watching it back they're not that bad and they do good considering the song and the style its to be sung in ...

There were loads worse on Saturday but people are saying they were the worst? :puzzled:

They are average. They never stood out to me at bootcamp and never on the live shows. Scott was the worst at the live shows though and should have been eliminated.

I didnt think they were the worst on Saturday but I think Bad Lashes were a better band and better singers esp in wonderwall.

I dont know why people dont like them - i dont either but i dont know why! :conf2:

I think people were just annoyed Bad Lashes went as in most peoples opinions, Bad Lashes were better.

However, Girlband aren't bad at all, just unrecognizable, they'll get more recognition now though.

Thats true, but he could have easily distinguished them (which I think he tried to do, but gave BL the worst song ever) They both could have done great.

I don't think they are bad, it has more to do with girl bands not being very popular any more.

Existing girl bands don't do badly from loyal fans that have stuck with them, but maybe the public are all Spiced out and girl bands have had there day for a while.

There is that too, but you can say that about most bands. Most so called pop bands don't seem to have much to make them stick out.

Yes, there are a few good pop bands out there that have nailed a limited market and there is not much room for new pop bands unless they are really special.

OK not really Girlband related but when the judges keep going on about a gap in the market for a new girl band, where is the gap? Girls Aloud and Sugababes have dominated the charts for years. Other girlbands have failed to break, even the Spice Girls had a failed come back! Now theres The Saturdays too who just happened to be lucky.

There's just nothing that makes them stand out.I thought they were pretty poor at bootcamp and wouldn't have even put them through.
