Will they change the format atall?

Does anybody lse think there wont be any major change? I can't see them risking millions of viewers (eg the casual viewers), to add in a HOH of POV.

Opinions?

I cant see them moving too far away from the format. Maybe a possible POV compatition, or somthing similar. But I dont think they will ever go so far to axe nomination and public vote.

They should change it but not an exact copy, I want to see elements of BBUSA but with a unique spin on it.

And I reckon something along those lines will happen.

I think the format is fine. There is nothing wrong with it. All they have to do is make sure housemates, tasks and twists are decent fresh and original, not making you think you've seen it all before.

The format is fine the way it is. I agree with Tom.

I'd hate if they started making it more like the other BBs around the world. I don't like any of them.

Yeah but he also said that the entire series would focus on competition, hence people thinking there will be a format change.

VoG is a poster here who claims to be a BB insider.

He/she is very accurate with their information so it's taken seriously.

VoG's info last month was that BB9 would have a greater element of competition but shy away from gimmicks. Make of that what you will. I think it would rule out the rumours about couples and children (which would clearly be gimmicks like the all-female launch flop last year) but whether HOH/POV could be described as a gimmick or an extra competitive element (or both!) is a matter of opinion.

I don't think we'll ever see Evil again. They haven't used it since BB6. But then again I'm happy they didn't overwork it. If Evil had been used again and again, BB7 or BB8 could have been even worse than they already were! :yuk:

On that note, did BB8 even have a theme apart from 'nice/fun'?

A format change is the one and only thing left to save BB simple as. If they carry on with the format theyve got, the show deserves to be axed. Surely the producers can think something to re-invent it
