Leona Vs Leon - October 08
in October 2007 Leona released her debut single Bleeding Love the same week as Take Thats Rule The World.both singles had huge first week sales but
Leona took the #1 and stayed there for 7 weeks.this year Leona will be releasing her 3rd single Forgive Me on October 13th.on the same day Leon
Jackson will be releasing his debut single.
both XFactor winners will go head to head in a battle for the #1 position but who will win?

Leon will. I'm not voting for my favourite here, its just the novelty of his first non-X Factor related song if that makes sense.
Those who like Leona have her album so until she makes a new album she probably won't make number 1
But I don't think Leon will be number 1 for as long as Leona was.

And Leona wouldn't have released in the UK for almost 7 months when FM comes out, so I can see there being interest.

Forgive Me is a new song that wasn't on the album. It was on the US version.

I'll admit she's talented, and I liked her on XF though I didn't want her to win.
It's because I find her music extremely dull. It all sounds the same, bland ballads with too many melismers. I also find her bland in the sense that
she's not really unique, her voice sounds like a lot of other artists, as does her music.
She also ruined I Will Be [IMO of course, avril's will always be better;; same with Jesse+Bleeding Love, I much prefer his version] and should really
write more of her own songs as I think that'd gain her more respect as an artist.
I could continue but I'm too tired atm >.>

Surly Simon would not pit Leon against Leona? He'll want Leon to do well, and not in the shadow of Leona. If true this is a bad move.

fair enough with the first part but the second part...lol
its not like she stole IWB from Avril.her label gave it to her.Avril must be realy stupid though.IWB is better then most of the songs on TBDT but she
didnt put it on her album so Leona got it.then with BL i respect that in your opinion Jesse's version is better but Im sure if you did a poll on
everyone in the world on which version is better then Leona would win with a clear magority.Leona wrote 2 albums before XF which you can find on
YouTube and she actualy wasnt realy allowed to write songs on Spirit due to Clive Davis(your a KellyClarkson fan so youl know all about that)

thats what everyone thought at first but think of all the press/media attention that would come from this...which would lead to huge sales for both
singles regardless of which gets #1
and yeah its right as of now(Sony might change the dates)

Yeah, I totally agree that Avril was stupid in doing that. I prefer IWB to Innocence and it'd have shown that Avril does have more talent then she
displays in Girlfriend.
I'm different to everyone in the world =P lol, I know what you mean, but I can't stop her popularity. I wouldn't want to, good for her, but I
personally feel Jesse's is better, and again, I think he's stupid for giving it away. I'll admit to being slightly biased as I've loved Jesse
since his first album, and I've followed his career since.
&&I've heard bits of the first two albums and personally, I'd rather have released those [obvs she can't] but similar instead of Spirit.
Clive Davis sucks to be frank. Maybe my opinion will change if her second album is remotely mind-blowing.

I find it strange that Simon would allow for them to go against each other unless he want a X Factor top 2 in the charts to help promote the show
