You know chirstmas is here when coca-cola ads start.

I hope they always keep at a decent time to start the advertising campaigns.

All the christmas ads mention the credit crunch this year which isn't very jolly.

The Coca Cola ad plays on this idea, we all saw it as a kid and remember the Christmasses that came with it, so we then associate it with warm nice Christmasses

Commercialism is a word?

I dont think its about making memories, its about having a good time, not thinking "Oh, I'll remember that next November. Its about having fun, yes, being with people, but, for me, the commercial side may be there, but I dont see it as the best part about a festival which was once based on religion.
