Default Official Press Release: Nomination Results

ALEX, ALISON AND SANDY ARE NOMINATED FOR EVICTION FROM THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE

Yesterday, for the first time, the 10 housemates (Sophie, the new housemate, is exempt from nominating / being nominated this week) went individually into the Diary Room to nominate the 2 housemates they most want to be evicted from the house.

This week three people are up for eviction. They are Alex (6 votes), Alison (4 votes) and Sandy (4 votes).

It is now over to the public to decide who goes. The housemate chosen for eviction will be told of their impending departure from the house on Friday 7th June during the 8.30pm live show, giving them just over an hour to pack their possessions and say their goodbyes.

BY PHONE
Viewers can vote to evict ALEX by calling 09011 15 44 01
Viewers can vote to evict ALISON by calling 09011 15 44 08
Viewers can vote to evict SANDY by calling 09011 15 44 05

Calls cost 25p, mobile costs may vary.

BY TEXT MESSAGE
The word vote followed by the name of the housemate they want to evict should be texted to Big Brother’s special short code number 83188.

Text voting costs 25p plus service providers usual text message rate.

VIA YOUR REMOTE CONTROL
Simply go to the ‘vote’ option on the Big Brother interactive TV screen.
Votes cost 25p each.

Whilst the housemates do not know how each of the others actually voted in the privacy of the diary room. We can divulge who voted for who….

ADELE – Alison and Kate
ALEX – Jonny and Alison
ALISON – Alex and Sandy
JADE – Jonny and Alex
JONNY – Sandy and Alex
KATE – Alex and Sandy
LEE – Jade and Kate
PJ – Alex and Sandy
SANDY – Jonny and Alison
SPENCER – Alex and Alison

The nominations tally after just one round of eviction nominations is as follows:

Adele 0
Alex 6
Alison 4
Jade 1
Jonny 3
Kate 2
Lee 0
PJ 0
Sandy 4
Spencer 0

Each housemate has to give a valid reason for their choice of nominees, and failure to do so could result in an official warning from Big Brother. Comments included:

· Alex chose Jonny because “he urinates in the shower and that’s disgusting”.
· Jonny chose Sandy because “he’s making no effort with me or the others. He’s distancing himself and brings nothing to the group”.
· Lee nominated Jade saying “She stirs things up and has been the cause of a lot of problems in the house”.
· Sandy nominated Alison “because she has to impress her personality on you all the time” adding that it was “tedious”.
· Spencer chose Alex “because his constant whinging gets on my nerves and he’s more interested in creating conflict rather than resolving it”.

Voting lines are now open and will close at 8.35pm on 7th June. The eviction will take place live on Channel 4 on Friday 7th June at 10.30pm when the first evictee will be greeted by their friends, family and of course, Davina McCall, for their first post Big Brother TV interview.

Thanks Lee

Interesting to note who nominated for whom....

It makes sense that Adele voted for 2 other girls; I thhink she expected to be Miss popular with the boys and wants her opposition OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sandy must go ... but there again so must Jonny even more so.

I don't want Alison to go at all,she is the leasttroublesome and conniving of them all. Not too keen on this new girl either..
No pleasing some folks really !!!

But it will be Alison taking the walk as two camps will unite against her.

There are those who want to see the house devide continue, for "entertainment value"

If C4 editing casts Alison in a poor light, then we can suspect Endemol have their own agenda

I would have voted to boot out Alex as the situation is getting to him, health wise. Much as I think Sandy should go, his mental health is not under threat like Alex's is.

Having said that, I am not at my normal phone.

And Alison is as good as evicted now

The problem is that Sandy and Alex are in alliance. With the third candidate, the supporters of both camps will pile in against Alison.

The feuding in some peoples minds is "good TV" therefore the best way for it to continue is to make sure Sandy and Alex stay in.

Ergo Good by Alison

Alex will be the least missed in the house. I think the public will agree and will vote him out this week.

Thanks, LEE.

I think it was almost a foregone conclusion that Alex and Sandy would be up for nomination, however the fact that Alison has been nominated so early on was a bit of a surprise to me.

Of the three, I would prefer to see Sandy go on Friday - he's just not interested in participating on anything other than his own terms.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record the situation is this

In the house there are two groups

Alex/Sandy Alliance (BTW does anyone find it curious that those two both nominated the same two people ?), & Everyone else

Those not supporting the Alex/Sandy pact will have a split vote between Sandy and Alex

Those supporting the Alex/Sandy Pact can join forces against the third candidate so their champions stay in.

Ergo get ready for Alison's eviction

I would like to be as I consider that for his own mental health, Alex should exit as he is having a hard time, (mostly of his own making)

However I have to look at the Machiavellian angle, and it predicts Alison being evicted for tactical reasons

If you think like me, that BB3 isn't a patch on last year's, you'll vote Alison out.

Here's why:

Alison is part of Jonny's gang: an obnoxious group of people that has turned BB3 into the most juvenile and annoying series so far.
The balance of power needs to be shifted in the house or the last four will probably be Jonny, PJ, Kate and Alison. Nightmare.
All those four have done so far is give the Daily Mail and Mirror more ammunition.

The attention-seeking antics shown at the end of tonight's show were embarrasing, I thought.

This house cries out for a Dean figure, someone that is respected by the younger ones and can influence them, but doesn't isolate himself like Sandy.

Sandy disses people behind their back but that's only because he's finds them annoying, like I do. He's suffering because Endemol have decided this year's Big Brother should be like 18-30 package holiday.

That's true but that does not mean the public will have the same alliance!

Some Sandy supporters might well hate Alex and Alex supporters hate Sandy.

But the majority will realise that by keeping the other person of the alliance in the house, that is one less nomination going their way.

Since Alison nominated both Alex and Sandy, for these camps it will be PACK BACK TIME

Alison could also be targeted by certain far right groups, who shall not be named on this forum.

Alison will be out on Friday
