I'd say pretty much, yes.

For CBB4 the final week poll predicted Chantelle would win by a landslide. It didn't predict that Michael Barrymore would be second though - the fact that people often vote for more than one housemate in the final is a variable that the polls on this site don't really take into account.

For the BB6 final the poll correctly predicted throughout the week that it was nip-and-tuck between Anthony and Eugene. After Eugene won half the money in the penultimate night twist there was a run-off poll and Anthony was the clear leader there.

The eviction polls have been generally accurate throughout this series also. For example Imogen's eviction percentage was 62% and the poll here predicted 63.1. Mikey's eviction percentage was bang-on level with the poll here - 48.5%.

Of course (as politicians are fond of saying) the only poll that really counts is the one, the result of which, will be announced at the end.

I hadn't thought about that. Even though I want Pete to win, I think it would be really unfair if Ais lost votes due to misspelled texts. I hope BB has made some sort of provisions for this happening.

It's been said that the polls and the bookmakers are both accurate (usually)!

It is possable to vote more than once on the site poll by simply clearing your cookies, though I doubt anyone has done this to the extent of the lead Ash is showing.
I've always found the polls on here to be within a few percent of the actual result.

Look Eugene had the most votes on the most polls in the last week of BB6.But he finished second.Chantelle was favourite when she won CBB4 , so she had a convincing win.But Petes odds are the same as Chantelles or even better so he should win thought.

not on the main polls (ds,ch4,here) where you have to log in, it's based on your username, stored in a database, so you can only vote once.

yes but the polls seem to say the opposite - I haven't heard anyone give a reasonable explanation as to why that is so!!

When you clear cookies, you are logged out, and enter as a guest and are able to vote again.

Well.
If all goes well Aisleyne will win.
She deserves to.
All the rubbish she's had to put up with in that house.
And well it'd be a shame if Pete won to be honest.
