Default 8.2 Million Turn In To See Pete Win

8.2 Million Turn In To See Pete Win
Last night's Big Brother final, which saw Pete walk away with the ?100,000 prize, attracted at its peak 8.2 million viewers - a 45.6% share of those viewing television at the time.

And when the voting lines closed, estimated money raised for charity from voting throughout the series totalled approximately ?1.2million. Approximately ?257,365 of that was raised from the vote to return ex-housemates to the house.

Unofficial overnight viewing figures from BARB have indicated that last night's (Friday 18 August) 10pm finale show - where Glyn was revealed as runner-up and Aisleyne in third place - was watched by an average 7.7 million viewers and a 39.2% share of viewers at the time.

This is up on last year's series finale which averaged 6.7 million viewers and a 34.4% share, and peaked at 7.8 million, and attracted a peak share of 43.4% of available audience.

Last night's 8.00pm show, where Jennie left the house in sixth place, Nikki in fifth and Richard in fourth, attracted an average 6.3 million and a 28.7% share, peaking at 7.4 million and a 33% share.

Last night's 10 pm final was the highest rating show of the series, the second highest being the 18 May launch night which attracted an average of 7.1 million viewers, followed by Grace's eviction on 16th June which averaged 6.3 million viewers.

All of this year's figures above are based on overnight and not consolidated ratings.

Love Islnd is one of the worst reality shows ever created ITV should of axed after the flop of last years one but no they keep it. If they even consider makeing a Love island NEXT YEAR I WILL WRITE TO THEM and tell them your embarassing yourselfs. BB WILL ALWAYS BEAT LOVE ISLAND. Thats the only reason why ITV want BB because its sucsessfull but i wouldnt watch it on ITV bwcause youll have dimwits like Ant and Dec popping up every 5mins and plus there wont be as much live coverage like it has on E4. But i think C4 WILL sign BB untill 2012 because of the succsess this sereis has had. KEEP BB C4
