Sorry but I have been observing recvently that posters here are not putting in links properly, as a result some of the long ones are not working, as there seems to be limit to the length of the link that will work, when just pasted from a browser window.

When doing a link the first thing you need to do, if you are unfamiliar with BB Code, is not to use the Quick Reply. Use Post Reply as this will give you access to the help buttons.

Even then, some of the duff links come from people opening new threads.

When you are in this window with the icons etc, there is a line / box above where you tupe which has a number of different symbols and a reference to font type and size. This section is called the formatting mode.

Click on the icon that looks like a picture of the Earth. This will give you a dialogue box, into which you put the description of that the link is about. Once entered you are presented with another dialog box, into which the actual link is pasted.

This way your links should work, even long one.

Or, if like me you are too lazy to use the full reply form, simply type:

then paste your link in:

[url]http://www.thisisbigbrother.com

then add [/url ] on the end (Without the space):

http://www.thisisbigbrother.com" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.thisisbig...rother.com</a> (Without the spaces, obviously)
