And this time, those contestants won’t be the usual predictable range of wannabe glamour models and uber-bitches – instead, BB are looking for “exceptional” 18-21 year-olds who excel in music, sport, art, science, business and, well, anything really, as long as they know where East Angular is.

And the best news of all? Dermot O’Leary will be hosting the whole thing. Gosh, he’s a busy boy, isn’t he?

We can also officially confirm that Davina WILL be returning for Big Brother 9 next summer. Phew. With two BBs and the SATC movie to look forward to in 2008, our eyes are very excited indeed.

That's a good thing for him to have all these shows because he's getting better. Now he has a primetime show, the whole new BB series and BBLB, he will be more recognised and getting more professional.
