Marc: I want to have her babies
Quote:
I want to have her babies JUNGLE cheetah Marc Bannerman has declared he wants to spend the rest of his life with Cerys, adding: "I hope we have children together."
In an exclusive interview, he revealed he and girlfriend Sarah Matravers were on the rocks BEFORE I'm A Celebrity.

Their relationship crumbled when Sarah started trying for a baby. Marc said: "She was not suitable—my heart tells me I need to be with Cerys.
"I hope to settle down and have children with the right woman. I think Cerys is that woman.
"Love can come from any experience in your life. When it hits you, what can you do? She is sweet, caring and considerate. She sings like an angel and is a very special person to me."
Marc, 34, said he lusted after Cerys from the moment he set eyes on her, when all the celebs first met at a hotel. He recalled: "We just moved together and went outside on the balcony.
"Instantly I wished she wasn't there. I fancied her and knew it could be trouble. I don't know what love at first sight is—but I had the most intense feeling."
Millions of TV viewers then watched as the pair grew close in the jungle.
Marc, who played Gianni di Marco in EastEnders, said: "I started to feel protective and I couldn't help gravitating towards her. All my emotions were riding high.
"If you fancy someone at work you can go home afterwards but this was so intense. We couldn't be apart.
Sobs
"Cerys spoke to me through her eyes. And she stopped me feeling hungry, even though I was nearly starving."
But at the same time Marc was worrying about what Sarah—his actress girlfriend of 2˝years—would think.
He said: "I am not a love rat. And out of loyalty to Sarah I tried not to look at the girls in their bikinis.
"But with Cerys I started to feel weak, that someone would be damaged and it would be my fault. My head was completely screwed."
He then became the first celeb to get booted out—and infamously admitted he was in love with Cerys, during a TV interview on the way back to the hotel.
Marc furiously recalled: "I can't remember what I was saying but they never told me I was being filmed."
Back at the hotel Sarah raged at him down the phone. He then sobbed in his room for two days before flying back to London. He said: "I have never been in such bits. She was crying on the phone and I was crying too. I've blocked out exactly what was said because it was so awful. But I didn't want to break up on the phone.
"I got back and I knew Sarah wouldn't be at home. She should have waited for me to get back and explain."
Marc said it was Sarah, an actress in Footballers' Wives: Extra Time, who persuaded him to go on I'm A Celebrity.
But he knew they had no future as a couple before the show started.
He said: "We had a good sex life until Sarah decided to come off contraception a few months ago.
"She wanted to have children but it was a bit of a wake-up call for me, and I wasn't sure."
Sarah has since emptied their North London flat, and claimed that Marc assaulted her during their infamous row in February 2006—when he was arrested.
Holding his head in his hands, Marc admitted he slapped Sarah but says it was because she was hysterical. He added: "Sarah never loved me and now she is trying to destroy my life. During that row she put her hand through two panes of glass. I slapped her to calm her down and stop her hurting herself. Then I dialled 999 for her to get attention. She dropped charges but the police could have pursued it and they didn't. They realised I'd done nothing wrong."
He also claimed she broke one of his teeth in another row—when she punched him.
Many of the arguments were fuelled by her jealousy, which he described as "suffocating". Before I'm A Celebrity, she warned him "not to get close to anyone".
Circus
Marc said: "I know Cerys won't be jealous as a girlfriend and that's very important to me."
Last week viewers expected him to be waiting for the singer after her jungle exit. But Marc defended his decision to stay in Britain, saying: "I don't want my private life to become a circus."
He has, however, met her children—Glenys Pearl Y-Felin, four, and Johnny Tupelo Jones, two—during a meeting set up by her sister in Australia before he left.
He said: "I needed her sister to know I'm no love rat. It was important as her family don't seem very happy.
"But something happened between me and Cerys—and I would like to hope she is the woman for me for ever."
