Default The real reason lines close tonight

Admin issues according to the C4 site. No twist, just a normal eviction with phone lines closing tonight. By admin issues I expect they mean so many things on different levels from counting the votes because there are more up to not having to bother making 8 best bits.

There won't be a twist.

I agree.....But never has this happened in the entire history of BB as far as I can remember.......Still smells fishy to me.....

Yes but then it has been more certain who was going home. Everyone knew Lesley was going in BB6 and same wth Nikki in BB7. Maybe it's just more unpredictable.

Let's just remember, would C4 tell us "Hiya the reason they are shutting is cos we have a massive twist for you all", I dont think they would tbh so I wouldn't be disappointed yet.
And ALSO, I wasnt gonna mention cos I didnt want ti to be not true and people go off on one, according to a long term poster on the Steph Appreciation Thread, someone they work with, has said to them that all evicted housemates bar tweedledum and pow pow pow have been told to be at the eviction, and Germaine (Stephanies auntie), has neither confirmed, nor denied the claim.

Just a thought, nothings offish though

Thanks for this. I knew there wouldn't be a twist, and I'm glad I didn't get my hopes up now, I could tell there was going to be a reason like this.

Mmmmm. Hope there is something in it........If true it could I suppose be a short public vote to put back in one of the ex housemates to replace Maysoon.....Would they dare to upset people yet again that have voted housemates out!!!!!!!

I genuinely don't think this poster would say unless he/she suspected if it was true, but hey, we'll find out tomorrow.

Well I take back what I said, for now. I would like to see something happen with ex-housemates actually, I know most people moan, and did with Nikki in BB7, but I think it could actually turn out alright. If this is true I can see us either having to vote an ex-housemate back in, the housemates having to choose one, or all the evicted housemates having to choose which housemate is evicted, between the 2 housemates with the most public votes or something, in a similar way to Fame Academy thing.

If its anything to do with the voting they have to because after everything that happened last year there are telly laws in place that we have to know exactly what we are voting for. I don't think they'd risk it for the sake of a twist tbh.

We know what we are voting for though, they could be plenty of other reasons why the lines have shut early, C4 do not, and may not have to tell us why the lines are shutting, until Friday, if they want to.

I'm just saying if there is a twist involving the voting then we have to know. And there probably isn't going to be a twist, we would've heard in one of the papers by now ...

Suppose, but we didn't find out about the 100,000 pounds twist till about an hour beforehand.

But that had nothing to do with our votes and there was a special show on that night because IIRC it was on twice. Tomorrow is just a normal eviction (with 5 minutes added on the end how it was when Steph/Sylvia were evicted).

I suppose they have to take extra measures to make sure it all above board since Ofcom got involved in the phone votes.
If that means shutting lines 24 hours early well then they must

Also would it not be considered unfair to start now? The whole shwo may be affected, as the result could have been totally different 24 hours beforehand.

Yeah I know, but even Belinda v Rex that could have all changed overnight 65 to 35, is possible. It's possible Steph was evicted with a narrow margin too
