Yes its tragic what happened to Khashoggi and we should all be pleased the Saudis have been put in the hot seat but what about the hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed in Yemen? Do they get justice? Do they even get a mention?

Since 2017 Mays government has sold £1.13billion in arms to the Saudis and Trumps government have sold the Saudis $110 billion with a promise of a $350 billion deal over the next ten years. Meanwhile Saudi has been inflicting unimaginable violence on the Yeminis people and because of our involvement, this makes it our war too.

So whilst we are getting all animated about Khashoggi’s untimely end, lets spare a thought for the untold destruction we have brought and continue to bring to Yemen. A destruction that targets schools, school busses, hospitals, refugee camps as well as food distribution centers, food storage facilities, fisheries, fresh water facilities and sparse farmland creating an impending famine that may affect up to 13 million people.
