Tbh that's quite a clever thing to do as it stops yourself from having to manually find the thread that you're looking for all the time.

I mainly just use mine for lists.

I do it quite a lot, my inbox currenty has 5696 messages and a few hundred of them will be messages to myself to remind me of stuff.. like if I leave a thread coz I am tired, will send the link to myself to make sure I check.reply in the morning

Yeah I tend to do it to keep myself remembering things that might otherwise be hard for me to remember.

I thought that I was the only one that did it tbh.
