10 children injured in crash near Rhoose school

In a statement, South Wales Police said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance at Fontygary Road, Rhoose, following a road traffic collision at around 8.50am.

"A car has overturned near Rhws Primary School and there are a number of casualties - including adults and children.

"The ages of those involved are not yet known. The road has been closed."

Three rapid response vehicles and five emergency ambulances were sent to the scene, where there were "multiple casualties" but there is no information as to the extent of injuries.

The Vale of Glamorgan council said it had no further details at present but would issue updates during the day.

A resident told BBC News she heard reports of a car swerving before hitting people.

"Apparently the driver had a coughing fit and slammed on the accelerator instead of the brake," she said.

"The lollipop lady was escorting a number of kids across the road at the time.

"The road is closed and air ambulances are on the way, heaps of ambulances and fire engines are at the scene."

Local resident Glynis Watson said: "A few of the mums are turning up and taking their children home. They are all traumatised.

South Wales Fire Service have described it as a "very serious accident".

Yesterdays Suggestion Task - Shades of NomCam

Anyone remember back in the day you could have a little idea who was nominated by keeping an eye on who was on camera whilst a HM was in the diary room nominating?

I think the same thing happened during yesterdays task. As the suggestions were being read out the camera lingered on one HM, most probably the HM that made the suggestion.

So..
One of the twins (cant tell them apart yet) made the suggestion about Micheal.
Wolfy or Gina made the suggestion about Sallie. Not so sure about this one.
Jackie made the suggestion about Callum.
Wolfy made the suggestion about Gina - Which was pretty nasty :nono:
Jackie made the suggestion about Jemima.
Dexter made the suggestion about Dan - Which he's admitted to.

The whole negative voting system is flawed.

I am of the belief that when it gets to day 25 and we are watching a welsh boy talking about his winky and a boxer farting on a bed they will realise something went drastically wrong.

Now as much as I dislike her...she makes a great housemate. Gina is too but she doesnt have as much to offer other than being spoilt. She does not get as involved and Saliie has so many selfish unlikeable qualities she just needs to stay....what do you think?

That sallie always starts a convo with people, just so she can use their cigarettes? Lmfao.
It makes me chuckle abit, because thats really sad. Apart from Dan and hazel she always does it.
Yesterday in the highlight show, it must of been the first time ive seen sallie talk to sophie, and mid way into the convo she asks to borrow a fag :laugh2:
She also done it to Charlie aswell.

I think im the only one whos noticed and you guys won't probably care about this like i do, but seriously i find that sad on her part.

She told Gina: “I wouldn’t generally go for a black guy…, I’ve gone out with Indian guys, I’d generally go out with someone in there 30s.”

Jemima later added: “You probably wouldn’t go for a white guy.”

But Gina took offense to the remarks, branding Jemima “racist”.

BB hauled Jemima into the Diary Room and warned her that the comments could be seen as offensive by her fellow housemates and viewers.

However fans have been quick to stand up for Jemima, claiming Channel 5′s warning was not needed.

Writing on our site, one commentator said: “Channel 5 needs to issue an Apology to Jemima…. This is disgusting – Not one bit of what she said was racist.”

And Joe Mount agreed, quipping: “How is it any different to her saying she prefers younger men? That’s not ageist yet this is racist? Come on BB man up (sorry if that sounds sexist)”

It seems like they aren’t the only ones to feel the warning as over the top, with 151 complaints having been made to Ofcom already, who will decide whether or not to investigate the issue.
