I've watched the X Factor fairly intently this year; having watched most of the audition shows, bootcamp, judges houses and now obviously the live shows. We're into the third week of live shows now, which I feel is enough time to have formed opinions on each of the acts left in the competition. This is all my own point of view, so I don't expect it to be a source of debate, just some general points .

I had a pretty profound experience today. I've been feeling a bit frustrated and bored recently, with nothing to do and nobody to physically hang out with - I've spent my days sleeping at weird hours and chatting to people over Facebook, which, as you can imagine, wore thin very quickly. I tried to get my best friend to come into town with me either during the day to go shopping or go out at night, today (well yesterday, technically) but he ducked out of doing both, so I decided to just go ahead...

As many of you will know; last night my father took it upon himself to comment on my mum's status, something along the lines of suggesting they were going to have sex. On a status. That my brother and I read. That all of my friends who have my mum added have read.

The boundary of acceptable and unacceptable barely exists when I'm with my friends; but when it comes to my parents, things are, as with most people, entirely different. It gets even more different when it's your friends...

Hello! Happy New Year to you all, and welcome to 2010 - it's been a while since I last wrote to my blog. Since the last time I posted one, I've become a moderator on here - which is still surreal to me. I'm also now back at Uni for my 2nd semester of 1st year, so far it's been easy, but my 9am lectures start up next week, so that'll undoubtedly change and I'll be hating life once more.
