You are ill too?!!? F**k me I'm not joking when I tell you that just about all my friends have been ill over the holidays. And you are right, nothing stops NYE celebrations no matter what, although it'd be nice to be 100%!

My cat now appears to be ill too, poor thing.

It didn't go well, nothing interesting really, but I caught an ear infection either on the 23rd or 24th and it was really painful on Christmas day, on boxing day I had to go up the hospital and waited about 2 hours to be given some pills to sort me out. I'm just hoping it will clear before the 31st, I'm going to Edinburgh and we're having a NYE party then we're going on house crawl
