Controller of Five, Richard Woolfe, has confirmed that the channel is ‘interested’ in acquiring Celebrity Big Brother.
In August, after Channel 4 axed the Big Brother franchise, Woolfe said that they had no immediate interest in taking on the show. ITV, Sky, UKTV and Virgin Media Television also ruled themselves out.
However, the success of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, which ended tonight with Alex as the winner, has changed the broadcaster’s mind.
