Actually you'd be surprised at how intelligent they are in real life.
They're good guys and really caring too.

Remove me from this Kate.
Wish I hadn't bothered.

It's 'supposed' to be I thought a positive thread and now here we go with the getting at people's choices again.
I'm deleting my original posts and going to leave you all to it.

Probably your idea of a hate thread would be a better one.
Thats one I'd avoid like the plague.
It seems however so called positive threads need avoiding too.
So I'm OUT of both!

Well I saw them in something a while back and thought they were ridiculously immature and attention seeking

Apologies if I’m completely wrong

No worries Zizu.

Maybe I shouldn’t have criticised one of your liked people . That was insensitive of me in hindsight

I guess it is someone he likes though .

I don’t like people criticising Chris Martin ( which happens a lot sadly )

I’d say Chris Martin was a musical genius with a heart of gold .. and yet so many seem to absolutely detest him

I have to keep bumping the thread and tbh I think once people have seen it once they don't read it again and if they were going to vote they'd have done so.

Kate! 02-05-2023 02:54 PM

Only 4 people (Zizu Cherie Vanessa and myself) have submitted a list. I can't count LTs, he's clearly being silly.

Cherie 02-05-2023 02:56 PM

I haven’t finished mine ...Livia said she needed time to think .....its not an easy list for me...its only been up a few days

I'll not set a closing date for round 1. We'll see how it goes. Thanks all so far

That is sad as I know the efforts you put into these things.

However on positive threads, anyone's choices shouldn't have any issue raised with said choices.

When it comes about, that it's more made a mockery of, then used to bring in negativity to anothers choices.
Then it makes the thing pointless in my view.

It's exhausting enough with the negativity on some other forum categories.
However when it's allowed to be enacted on so called positive event/ threads.
Then really it becomes more a chore than pleasurable.

It makes a mockery too of your own efforts frankly to generate positive interaction on the forum..
Which is commendable and always has been from the many times you've attempted to.

I have apologised for my insensitivity.. maybe certain threads should come with instructions for flaky folk like myself .

Now I know to not post any criticisms in Appreciation threads

I wasn't referring to you Zizu.
I answered your point you mentioned.

I said no worries Zizu.
Thank you for your positive response.

Really no worries.

I've always myself thought it really sad and bad for the forum when positive themed threads get turned into more like serious debates threads.

I best stop now as this is derailing almost Kate's attempt at a positive event.
