I really wanted her to go down the R&B route rather than follow in the footsetps of Rihanna,Britney and Beyonce and release an album full of soulless Hip Pop.

I'm surprised, I thought they might have gone in a Rihanna esque route but I was thinking it would have been more likely to take a Leona route since Simon Cowell doesn't like risks and just loves the mumsy target audience.

I thought Simon would have wanted her a more Leona type, but he also doesn't want her to be called a rip-off of Leona. I'm very happy she's gone for the more up-tempo hip-hop stuff! :lovedup:
