http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...photooto-1.png
This week the photographers had two themes. The universal theme of Passion and the themes of Supernatural & Fairytale. Lets see how they did.

Voting details are at the bottom of this very long post

Group One; Passion & Supernatural.
Group one had the themes Supernatural & Passion. Here are their photos for this week.

Arneldo// FAILED TO SEND EITHER IN

bronaaaaa//
Passion
Title:
Inspiration: I had a better idea but my model went to bed lmao..so I just used flamenco shoes to represant passionate dancing

Supernatural
Title:
Inspiration: The dictionary definition I found was, 'Unnatural and out of control of nature' which expains the roads/other man made shite, and when I think of supernatural, I think of eerie, ghosty shizz, which I think the misty shy shows. Not the best portrayal I know, but I like thisnpicture.

Dezzy// FAILED TO SEND EITHER IN

Jéssícá//
Passion
Title: Potential Rain
Inspiration: I honestly couldn't think of anything for this topic so I decided to just take a picture of a hobby that I love doing, which is origami. I used two of the simplest ones I can make, which are the Origami 3d star and the origami peace crane.

Supernatural
Title:
Inspiration: I also found this quite difficult until I was flicking through my pictures and I found this one from about two weeks ago, when I took a picture of my dog and cat there was like a white smoke in the picture and you can see the cat looking at it but there was nothing there.

Patrick//
Passion
Title:
Inspiration: Video Games are my Passion!
.

Supernatural
Title:
Inspiration: Blue Bolt of light! What is it!

------------------------------------

Group Two; Passion & Fairytale.
Group two had the themes Fairytale & Passion. Here are their photos for this week.

CaraRawr//
Passion
Title: You are my passion
Inspiration: I took this photo today when I saw my friend drawing a picture for her boyfriend, which are her passions. She had 'i love you' written on her hand too, so I took this. :] I like it!

http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...snice/ooaa.jpg

Fairytale
Title: Pop-up Dreamland
Inspiration: Yeah, I know this picture isn't very good. I found this old pop-up fairytale book in my cupboard and decided to take a photo of one of the scenes. It's horrible but whatever. =]

----------------------------
GypsyGoth//
Passion
Title: Bedtime Books
Inspiration: Hmm... I adore fantasy books, I guess it's escapism, anyway some of the stories I've read have touched my heart.

http://i38.tinypic.com/2ibdtgi.jpg

Fairytale
Title: Goldie Bear
Inspiration: I wanted to try and capture something almost magical.

http://i38.tinypic.com/xlz8s5.jpg

--------------------------

MrGaryy// FAILED TO SEND IN EITHER PHOTO FOR THE SECOND WEEK RUNNING AND SO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED.

----------------------------
Nate//
Passion
Title: Pride
Inspiration: Was quite stumped for this so I though of what my passion is, and it's my football team. Here are the three different badges theyve had.

http://i38.tinypic.com/fk9lwj.png

Fairytale
Title: Midnight
Inspiration: From the famous fairytale of Cinderella, she only had till midnight at the ball and the shoe represents the magic slipper..

http://i35.tinypic.com/fdalhw.png

-----------------------------------

PJ//
Passion
Title:Laptop
Inspiration: My passion is Computers so I took a photo of my laptop.

http://i34.tinypic.com/111ov2s.png

Fairytale
Title: Something I found randomly
Inspiration: [i]This was a really hard theme and I was going to take a photo of a witches’ hat but I found this luckily it’s complete violation but y’know it’s better than a photo of me in a mankini.

I quite like your ones. There's a lovely naivety with the pic of the pop up book and I've always loved black and white photos although I might have suggested maybe putting in the head of the person who was drawing, with her/his face full of concentration. Just for compositional purposes and to give it a more personal feel. Still, they're both very nice. Think you've all done really well.

bronaaaa 13-11-2009 06:53 PM

So we have to vote who we want to go?

Patrick 13-11-2009 06:53 PM

Hate mine,

The rest are nice :)

So is everyone up for elemination ? Or is it just the 2 People that didnt send in their pictures??

LemonJam 13-11-2009 06:54 PM

Wow, really high standard! Well done everyone!

\PJ/ 13-11-2009 06:55 PM

thank you! :] i did have one with a full body shot, but i decided the close up showed more of the idea behind the photo. but thanks for the constructive criticism ^_^

Sam! 13-11-2009 06:55 PM

Brona, CaraRawr, Patrick, Nate, PJ, GypsyGoth & Jessica need to u2u/pm me either DEZZY or ARNELDO (your least favourite). The photographer with most votes will be eliminated.

GypsyGoth's vote is worth three points.

I like them. At first I thought you'd put a mask on your head for the second one. That gave me a giggle.

Sam! 13-11-2009 06:56 PM

I'll post my comments in a minute.

King Gizzard 13-11-2009 06:57 PM

Ahh there all really good. Probably the best standard and I thought this was gonna be a hard week!

Yeah, I was just thinking it might have been difficult to get it all in one shot with enough definition to see everything. Should post them all up anyway cuz I think it was a lovely idea.

Really? I think yours are pretty good! Especially the computer one.

Sam! 13-11-2009 06:58 PM

I like most of the photos however some don't portray the themes that well.

bronaaaa 13-11-2009 06:58 PM

I love yours PJ (:

King Gizzard 13-11-2009 06:58 PM

And to think at first I took a picture of 3 bowls of Porridge for the fairy tale (goldie locks and the 3 bears rofl)

They're all very good Nate. Well done, nothing to have been worrying about. It's lovely to see you all being creative and they all have that personal feel about them, which is the most important thing.

Tom4784 13-11-2009 06:59 PM

Ah great pictures! Sorry I couldn't get mine in, I did have a good idea for passion though which is a shame really.

LemonJam 13-11-2009 07:00 PM

No offence to Dezzy, but Dezzy to go. Arneldo took some very decent shots last week and I'd be suprised if he went.
