Would you rather be a chav or an emo?

All in the title

Chav :)
whats wrong with chavs?
its just the way you dress!

Stu 17-01-2010 12:15 PM

Tough question. Emo I suppose. Both are mentally challenged group huggers so I may as well pick the non violent ones that stand a chance of a future.

But there's the associations that come with those names to consider. Emos conjure up images of self harming; chavs make me picture vandalism and so on. Overall I think I'd rather be considered emo; because for the most part it's just a phase, whereas 'chav' seems to be more of a lifestyle.

CiaraD 17-01-2010 12:17 PM

Emo, chavs annoy me more.

Shaun 17-01-2010 12:18 PM

With emos the music/art is a little more acceptable, so that.

I probably live a lifestyle closer to that of a chav, though.

Emos do self harm :yuk:
that makes me sick

xDramatick 17-01-2010 12:24 PM

An emo - they stereotypically only hurt themselves as opposed to others...

bbfan1991 17-01-2010 12:25 PM

Stereotyping is still alive I see:).

InOne 17-01-2010 03:08 PM

Even though, I hate them both, probably emo. I'd happily kill a chav, they are a plauge to society.

MeMyselfAndI 17-01-2010 03:12 PM

A chav, its only how they dress :):):)
Emos slit there necks..

Chav probley?
Im more like an Emo but I would rather be a chav if that makes sense.

Brad. 17-01-2010 03:29 PM

Chav for sure

Chantel 17-01-2010 03:30 PM

Emo although i dont like either

MrGaryy 17-01-2010 03:35 PM

Emo most definitely. At least within emo culture there is some depth to the music and I don't hate some aspects of emo fashion. Chavs are generally bullying messes with little chance of a future.

ILoveTRW 17-01-2010 03:39 PM

wheres the guido option????

Ninastar 17-01-2010 03:40 PM

Some emos are quite good looking where as I doubt you'd find a good looking chav.

LemonJam 17-01-2010 03:41 PM

An emo. Chavs are exactly what is wrong with todays society; selfish ignorant ***** and tbh I'm quite suprised they have so many votes.

Stu 17-01-2010 03:42 PM

LOL @ Some of you who say chav is just a fashion sense. The whole reason people earn the name chav in the first place is because they act like chavs. Vandalism, crime, theft, smoking low grade hash at the corner of the post office. That sort of thing.

InOne 17-01-2010 03:50 PM

lol @ all these middle class kids wanting to be chavs, you really have no idea.

Novo 17-01-2010 03:53 PM

Well done you found a youtube video called " Stupid Chav "

Maia 17-01-2010 03:54 PM

I'd rather be an emo. They only hurt themselves, not other people.
