Corrie's Sean to be Re-united with his Son

Coronation Street's Sean Tully is to be reunited with his long-lost son in a 50th anniversary storyline, according to reports today.

The Underworld factory worker - played by Antony Cotton - has not seen his child Dylan since the youngster's mother Violet Wilson (Jenny Platt) fled Weatherfield in January 2008.

However, the Daily Star reports that Sean and Dylan will come face-to-face later this year after the camp machinist tries to track Violet down on Facebook.

Sean fathered Dylan in 2007 after agreeing to act as a sperm donor for Violet. The pair made the arrangement when Violet realised that she wanted to have a child as soon as possible after discovering that she had a reduced chance of fertility.

In a heartbreaking twist for Sean, Violet left Weatherfield with partner Jamie Baldwin (Rupert Hill) shortly after Dylan was born, vowing never to contact her friend again.

Coronation Street's 50th anniversary episodes will air in December.

I wonder how this is going to pan out. As I remember, she did not like him getting too involved with the kid and he did get a bit clingy.
