Now that this series is almost over, how do you compare it to other BB's?

I loved the first as it was original and no one (even the HM's) knew what to expect and if I remember rightly I loved series 2 and 3

The rest intermingled

I started watching in BB5.

01 - BB6
02 - BB5
03 - BB7
04 - BB9
05 - BB10
06 - BB11
07 - BB8

This series is the worst out of BB5-11 (the ones I've watched).

It was good better than BB8 and, okay I'll say it.. BB10 too although at the start it wasn't.

They said they were going for light-hearted for the final series, but light-hearted isn't really my bag when it comes to BB. IMO, the harsher BB is the better the series.

BB11 is ranked 9th out of 11 series for me, but it could drop to 10th if the public pick an especially ****ty winner, which is more than possible with this line up and public.

I agree with the member who said Season 1 was 'special' and that nobody knew what to expect made it unique.
Also 'sentimental value' goes to #1 as the 'original' and where the magic began.

BB9 remains my all-time favourite season - as close to perfect as it gets.

BB11 is frustrating because it had massive potential to be one of THE best of the best of all seasons,
but,
something just kept going wrong between Shabby ruining things, people walking, (leaving injuries) but then too many new HMs,
and,
then the mass eviction at the end.
This odd 'start-stop-restart' really hurt the season.

I still have BB11 'up there' but because of that 'stop start' and that lack of 'unifying group' and 'natural arc' it maybe ranked 7 out of 11

I'll never see you in the same light again, Patrick. :( Need I remind you of the golden ticket special, the comeback kids, the house next door, Aisleyne having to evict a housemate, Grace going into the main house for her 21st birthday for 21 minutes, Glyn climbing the roof to go to the other garden, Nikki's tantrums?

Dreadful - designed to appeal to gullible female pre-teens - the original concept of BB abandoned in favour of a scripted story-board soap-opera .....

Lol that's reminded me of some good memories.

I can't remember alot of BB7, it's weird because I can remember BB6 fine and well but not BB7, I need to give it a good rewatch.

I find the twists great but the housemates poor except for Nikki of course.

I think BB11 is the mother of all shopping tasks though lol
I have to say I adored the Prison Task of BB7 and that was my favourite task up until BB11's Ignore Task happened.

Still can't believe you prefer BB7. I mean I respect opinions and all but come on. :joker:

I think its been better than the last few Big Brothers. It will take something for it to beat the BB Nadia was in and the BB Brian Dowling was in though.

(1) BB5 Victors gang v nadias gang..funny and explosive.1st sex in house:Rows=Burning hot
(4) BB6 racial house split...craigs love story with poor anthony:Rows=Hot
(2) BB7 Petes mad and nikkis mad=fake romance grace heats up the house with aiselyne from the hood:Rows= medium
(7) BB8 chanelle v charlie bitch fest,fake romances bellows wins being a complete knob.Rows=Hot
(6) BB9 2 got thrown out.rex made it for me until his gf come in...the rest got on my nerves..bores:Rows=medium
(9) BB10 Marcus made it for me..corin flirted with whole house..bfs brought in.Rows=mild/medium
(8) BB11 started full of great characters..they left...got boring..sam saved the whole series from the toilet...he left..josie fixed to wiin

It's been better than bb10, 4 and 8.

For me its BB6, simply because it was the first one i watched fully, i'd watched BB4 and 5 but not properly, from what i saw of 5 it was good
BB7 was good,
BB8 was ok, not the best.
BB9 i never got into, i went on holiday for 2 weeks about halfway through and then never got back into it. Then it had the awful ending with the blandest housemate winning.
BB10 slowed down, lacking house, housemates weren't the best
BB11 such potential, brilliant housemates but it didn't reach what it could have been

Out of what I've watched:

BB 9 & 10 are pretty close though...

THe one with Jade in was the best, I dont remember which number that was, the this years very closely follows.

bb1/2/3/5/6/7/8 were good, bb11 has been.... ok (worst final), and then bb9/10 AND 4 at the tail end. It's why it's finished........
