Aiden's song choice revealed, thoughts?
 

It's revealed Aiden's doing Nothing Compares To You by Prince. I have no idea whether he'll do it well, but I don't think it's the best choice.

What does everyone else think?

Another slow song I see, they need to give him an upbeat song.

I guess it's not too 'gloomy' though. I was really hoping he'd do Gold Digger, as that was amazing in his audition. And as it's by Kanye West, I assume counts as an American anthem to the judges.

I thought it was incredible. (Not as good as Mad World, but still) and I'm actually speechless at the reactions of everyone on this site. Everyone's saying 'oh it was dire' etc., I wonder if I hear differently to everyone else :|

Everyone I was watching it with thought it was amazing too, though. Also, everybody seems to dislike his voice, but I think he has a unqiue, beautiful voice which I personally enjoy listening to far more than any of the other contestants'. I really can't understand why everyone else thought it was bad.

dont worry its just vocal haters,his got through the first 4 weeks without hitting the bottom 2/3.

It was a great song choice for him from Danni, in fact she scored full marks from me on all her song choices last night, Matts was incredible, but I love that song anyway, she even came up with an inspired choice for Paije, that was far and away his most relaxed and best performance yet.

I've no problem with Aiden doing ballads,it will be his market, he could do them all the time for me,Dannii will get him moving though in weeks to come, a long way to go yet.

i hope your right joey about him being in it for awhile longer.
