How Things Have Changed!!!!

Was just looking back at her first audtion and can't believe how much my opinion has changed on her. Her first audtion if i'm being honest was amazing and she seemed like such a sweet , nice girl who i thought was actually quite attractive.

But since Cheryl got her hands on her her performances at best have been poor and she has become a very nasty , smug person , and one i don't find attarctive at all

Which begs the question if Cher had landed herself with a better mentor would she have gone on to win the show and maybe have been lucky enough to date the Legend Killer???

She doesn't come across as arrogant or a 'chav' at all to me. She seems like a very fragile person to me with low self-esteem. I think the 'confidence' thing is all a mask to hide it all. Her reaction to her appearance in the Bottom Two and then Xtra Factor following her survival spoke wonders for me. She was shaking, crying etc etc. You can tell the whole thing really means a lot to her. I don't think the booing/bad press is helping at all either. I admit the faces she pulls and the things she says in interviews are at times very cringeworthy and awkward, but I genuinely believe it's because she just has very low confidence.

Even if this isn't the case - believing in yourself and being confident is certainly something that shouldn't be condemned.

Totally agree , but i just think she has become very smug with it which pisses me off. And the way her popularity has declined since first audtion i think many would agree

I think she comes over as borderline confident/arrogant, but I rather like that - and I prefer it to the hand-wringing 'lovemelovemelove' faux insecure contestant - Austin Drag for example (remember him?)

I agree with this bit, I don't like her attitude tbh, and she snarls an awful lot too

She's just confident, not arrogant. She tries to act more confident than she is though I think, which is maybe why some people see her as arrogant? She believes in herself though which is a good thing though..

Oh and I think she looks way better now than she did in her audition, although  both.

I know she's confident and some just don't like the fact she has a lot of attitude:D. No way is Cher arrogant, is it wrong to really believe in yourself or must you do the no confidence thing to build yourself up like Rebecca?.

I've dome the opposite with Cher, I hated her at first (especially after "bells are ringa dingin") but I think shes my fave atm

Mystic Mock 30-11-2010 06:31 PM

i dont know about cher landing a date with you:hugesmile: but she still wouldnt stand a chance if she had simon as her mentor as rapping is a contraversial type of singing/talking.
