The Casey Anthony Trial

Thoughts?
This has been a huge story in America.
Basically the American Version of the Baby P trail.
Casey was sentenced to a year in prison on July 5th and got out July 17th for good behaviour.

If she was found not guilty of killing her, why did she go to jail?
Was it on another charge?

On July 5, 2011, the jury found Casey Anthony not guilty of murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter of a child, but guilty of four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Anthony received a sentence of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count

Her daughter apparently died drowning in a family pool, she panicked made it looked like her daughter was murdered and dumped the body in the woods.
I guess she went to prison for not giving correct evidence

I think she was guilty

none of us were on that jury. I think it's easy to judge someone without having any of the real responsibility of actually being on the jury. Our justice system is set up so that it's better to let 100 murderer's go free than to have 1 innocent person unfairly convicted.

I suspect she may be one of the 100, but hey, there are much stronger forces in the universe than the American Justice system.

Justice will be done eventually/ultimately. In this world or the next.

I only heard about this when the web exploded about the verdict, I can't claim to know anything about it other then that.

ILoveTRW 19-07-2011 04:51 PM

I don't see how anybody couldn't see this as a murder
why would anyone make an accident look like a murder and then after a month not have a plausible story as to how the baby was murdered
at the end of the day the jury were just dumb ****s, 1 juror even said in an interview that she does like to judge people. i mean wtf.
