Titanic made of Balloons! <3

omg. :')

In a shopping centre in town today, look what they've put up for Titanic's Anniversary:

this morning..

tonight..

I wanna burst it with a pin. :amazed:

But seriously though everywhere you go there's Titanic Festivals and stuff being held everywhere, it literally feels like you're off for 'The Titanic Holidays' or something rather than Easter.

Marc 05-04-2012 09:04 PM

Pop the s**t out of it!

King Gizzard 05-04-2012 09:04 PM

Imagine the fun to be had popping that

CharlieO 05-04-2012 09:06 PM

Another advertising scheme to try get you to go see a movie you've already seen and probably have on DVD.

Patrick 05-04-2012 09:06 PM

I seriously am considering popping it tomorrow night.. But I'd feel guilty afterwards

More of Celebration of the fact Titanic was made here, rather than trying to promote a silly James Cameron film..

King Gizzard 05-04-2012 09:07 PM

Get Jack_ on a plane to Belfast and reinact the final scene

Yea, what a surprise they do it a couple of days before titanic comes out in cinemas again. Not to do with the film at all.

Harry! 05-04-2012 09:13 PM

I think it should be popped in the way the Titanic sinking happened.

Mrluvaluva 05-04-2012 09:15 PM

Make an iceberg out of white balloons and smuggle it in.

Well I suppose the film couldn't possibly be scheduled for the 100th anniversary of the Titanic incident. That's just too logical.

The film is the only thing that makes people care though. Without the film the Titanic would be no where near as remembered or famous. I bet that balloon this has been paid for in order to advertise the film more anyway.

Are you kidding me? Yes, the film helped some people remember it, but to say that it wouldn't be as remembered is ridiculous. It was a major event and it is coming up to the 100 year anniversary.

Not kidding at all. Yes people would remember slightly, but without the film it really wouldn't be discussed much other than in a history classroom in schools. The majority of the general public 100 years on wouldn't care if it hadn't been majorly publicised through a film.
