letters from home

were the housemates apart from them right to give back there letters

i think yes they did brill to do that

MTVN 21-01-2013 10:22 PM

It was a nice gesture I suppose, don't think it was necessary though

Jordan. 21-01-2013 10:22 PM

No it was a stupid stance and I don't know why Claire let them go through with it.

newsbb 21-01-2013 10:23 PM

im pretty sure some of them didint wanted to return the letters, but being the sheeps that they are they were worried about not going with the hole house... its so obvious.

flamingGalah! 21-01-2013 10:23 PM

Yes, but they should have burnt Speidi's...

Patricia4 21-01-2013 10:33 PM

No

joeysteele 21-01-2013 10:45 PM

It was a nice thing to do, however,I would have preferred them to have theirs read out leaving Spencer and Heidi as they already had done just to read their own.

I also think as was said by Rylan, don't give them airtime, leave them in the bedroom and not be vehicles for their selfishness. Hopefully though he will be able to do that too because he actually opens the door to giving them a lot of potential airtime.

Patricia4 21-01-2013 10:50 PM

BB has given them their letters Claire is crying when she hears from her family.
She can put it on the women.

Tregard 21-01-2013 10:56 PM

If I was Claire I'd be more upset with them doing that.

For the same reason she was prepared to let Rylan shave off his beard. She's was only thinking about no.1

I agree with you.

RodHull 21-01-2013 11:16 PM

Yeah they were, but of course the too cool for school crowd will call them out for playing up to the cameras while Speidi were being 'real' cause of course Speidi didnt deliberately fail that for the cameras or then try to play the villain role by clapping.

Slevin 22-01-2013 07:59 AM

When everyone hates you why would you separate from the only person who doesnt to win something for one of the the people that dont like you (even though they hepled with the hate they get)? they were pretty much told by Spencer & Heidi they werent gonna do it. i was more baffled by Claire not promptly stopping Rylan from shaving and even after she didnt get hers to at least tell the rest they should read theirs and not put up this united fake front to show up like we are self righteous. if i was the casualty i wouldnt want the others to miss out because of me.

wendywillow 22-01-2013 08:06 AM

claire should cut speidi a check for this she became quite the martyr. the rest were doing the "we don't want a letter either" as a f-you to speidi as well. (i do feel for claire on this one but she cant be surprised, speidi were picked last to get their letter so they werent going to jump through hoops for anyone)

Sophiee 22-01-2013 11:00 AM

it was a very kind thing to do, but it wasn't totally necessary.

daniel-lewis-1985 22-01-2013 11:04 AM

I dont see why they deserve letters from hom they are only there for 20 odd days.

Its all part of the BB experience

Suze 22-01-2013 12:32 PM

A thought re Rylan as he was the most vocal it would seem, occured to me about the letters. Rylan is a fan of BB and so would know that all the housemates do eventually get their letters anyway, so why did he kick up such a big fuss about it all with Heidi and Spencer? :conf:

Because he wants to play the hero and he knows how everyone is viewed on hte outside so he is using it to his advantage.

glasstangerine 23-01-2013 09:55 AM

BB always gives people a second chance for missed letters. Not sure why everyone got all self righteous about it.

Niamh. 23-01-2013 10:10 AM

I bet Ryan is regretting it, now he knows that his letter is much less important than Claires :idc:

starry 23-01-2013 10:19 AM

They were always about to give them letters whether they wanted them or not lol. The producers think they are essential for a bit of tearjerking drama each series.
