New album is currently at #6 on iTunes with one of those being a deluxe edition, so i'm going with #5.

Also getting great reviews, with a score of 77 on Metacritic currently.

I used to love her first album, I remember I was on holiday in Greece in 02 and thats the only CD I took (because I had a walkman back then) and I listened to it over and over :dazzler:

Yeah, promo has been dreadful, especially in the UK.
Currently at number 5 which is great considering the lack of promo and being up against new releases from Tinie Tempah, Eminem, James Arthur and Live Lounge.

Imagine what she could've done with a few live TV performances over here.
Would it be too much to have asked for an X Factor performance? Would be better than most, if not all of the guests so far... :idc:

She should have performed Rock N Roll on XF, it didn't deserve to bomb http://i.imgur.com/QWY2By2.gif

Knowing what her labels like though (with it being the same as Cher) I'm not surprised at how bad promo has been.

You mean Epic(fail)?
Don't even get me started.
CiCi's album was flawless too and had no promo from them, so flopped. :idc:

I think I only like about 3 songs from the album, my least fave of hers

Benjamin 05-11-2013 09:37 PM

Not heard this album yet, but Let Go is one of the finest albums from my teenage years.

daniel-lewis-1985 05-11-2013 09:39 PM

Everyone thinks her last album was her worst but to me it was a lot more like Let Go just more grown up.

In regards to people saying she needs to grow up aswell isn't P!nk releasing the same type of rock pop anthems and being praised even though shes 34?!

Avril Lavigne self titled album is currently sitting at #11 in the official UK top 40.

Today I went into my local ASDA (not there) TESCO (not there) Sainsburyss (not there).

These are all stores that sell albums from 20 to 1 so im wondering how many copies have actually been issued if major stores aren't even selling it.

Looks like I will be taking a 20 minute walk to HMV seeing as its not in top 20 of any other shop.

Anyway....Rock and Rock was awesome but she doesn't deserve top 10 here given the laziness of her promotional "tour".
