Quite the reverse there is a cold front approaching you now (its going through Manchester and Cardiff now). The weekend for you will be sunny and chilly with a max of around 9C

Kate! 20-03-2014 03:30 PM

In the Northwest of England please?

Well it should be raining with you now and clearing soon. The weekend will be chilly with showers and sunshine in between. Highs of only 8 C so quite a bit chillier than of late.

Niamh. 20-03-2014 03:42 PM

Cork, Ireland please LT

Again chilly. Some light showers for you Sat and a better drier day on Sunday but only around 8 C at best with a chilly breeze and perhaps a ground frost sat into sun

The weather app is probably some american provider like the weather channel or accuweather and both are useless for the UK but with elevation you could get a snow shower say above 300m or so.
