I know you're not supposed to eat meat, but I didn't know anything about fish.

I normally aim to cook fish most Friday tea times. ( or send to the fish shop)

Yes you're correct, the tradition/custom is actually not eating meat, most people go for fish as the alternative on Good Fridays but there's no actual reason why it has to be fish, could be totally veggie for the day or other option.

No, I've no fish to make, I love fish though, so this is nothing to do with Good Friday
