In the Big Brother vixen's Daily Star Online column yesterday, Sallie labelled former BB housemate Chanelle Hayes "over-edited", a "bunny boiler" and a model that was "wringing out her desperation like a wet towel".

No surprises, Chanelle didn't take too kindly to this description, and tweeted: "If u need to publicly criticise me to get noticed, please, go right ahead.

"Thank you for thinking of me, you never cross my mind #flattering."

Expecting a backlash from the lads' mag favourite, we thought the column-related sarkiness was over – but we never should have been so naive.

Despite not being mentioned in Sallie's weekly piece, former Celebrity Big Brother star Nicola McLean decided to involve herself in the clash of the housemates, and started an almighty feud with Miss Axl in a matter of minutes.

While a remark like this would usually end typing tiff, Nicola is well used to sticking out Twitter feuds and remained unperturbed, posting: "You would love a quarter of my career babe."

After a half hour of mud-slinging, Sallie unleashed a, we're guessing, slightly insincere truce, writing: "Baby I actually like you and your stupidness . Let's all be friends" to which Nic simply replied: "No thanks."

But even THAT didn't end the squabble, with Sallie then branding Nicola a "gold digger", before bidding her farewell with a cutting message: "Hope you have a lovely day you old tart you."

While she didn't partake in the breakneck feud, Chanelle Hayes soon responded to the battle, writing: "I refuse to tag the girl or the piece of trash referred to as a column because I will not fuel a troll and give her attention she craves!"

If Sallie gets any more opinionated on the world of celebs in next week's column, we may have a full-blown war on our hands.
