The model and singer could net herself a five-figure sum to appear on the Channel 5 reality show, the Herald can reveal.

The Clontarf native (24) has been approached by the producers of the show, who are said to be "extremely keen" to have her fill the last female slot as they finalise this year's celebrity line-up.

The news comes in the wake of Nadia's lucky escape in a motorway crash which saw her Fiat 500 rolling over several times after she skidded in poor weather conditions last Sunday.

Big Bro bosses are hoping she will spill all on her friendship with Rory after they together during a night out with a group of friends in Dublin.

"Nadia ticks all the right boxes when it comes to Celebrity Big Brother," said a source.

"She's really outgoing and chatty and comes across well on camera. Plus she looks amazing in a bikini - and show bosses always have a few gorgeous models on the programme.

"There's also the added intrigue of her friendship with Rory, so they're hoping she could divulge something juicy on the show."

Although an initial offer has been made to the half-Italian beauty, it's not yet known whether she will take it up.

She's currently busy promoting her debut single, BPM, in England and is in talks to make a second instalment of a reality show.

Nadia hit the headlines this week after her car spun out of control while she was driving on the M40 between London and Birmingham.

She's "lucky to be alive" after her tiny Fiat 500 Abarth sports car flipped several times before ending up in the central reservation.

Emergency services said it was a "miracle" she survived the crash, which left her with little more than a few bumps and bruises.

Speaking afterwards, she said she was "the luckiest girl in the world" to have survived.

Rory also spoke about the accident, saying he was glad she wasn't badly injured.

"Obviously if anyone's in a car crash, you're glad to see that they're okay, but obviously it was a pretty scary incident," he said.

The pair were seen enjoying each other's company during a night out in House in Dublin's Leeson Street last month and Nadia confirmed they have several mutual friends.

For her part, Nadia has always stressed that there was no romance and they just had mutual friends.

She has a busy schedule herself as she divides her time between Dublin and London as she continues promoting her debut single BPM.

This Saturday she will take to the stage at Brighton Pride to see her performing alongside stars like X Factor winner Sam Bailey as she continues building up her pop career.

Why do they recruit people off of having relationships with someone famous?

They aren't allowed to show them talking about that person anyway so its such a waste of a housemate.

Yes, on a show that receives 6 million+ more viewers than CBB and should theoretically cast better celebrities than people so unknown that they were rejected by Channel 5
