Why is he disliked so much?
 

Please can someone explain why Pav is disliked so much? I don't mind him I just think if he contributed more to the show then he'd be a better housemate. It's like when people are saying 'he's playing a game' what's his game plan? Might sound stupid but I don't think he's playing one?

He's a waste of a HM.

Why disliked? He has cheating eyes.

The Hms are wary of him because of what Matt/Danielle said ,why the public don't like him I have no clue .

I agree with the Matthew/Danielle thing but I just don't understand why the public dislike him...

I really don't understand it, he's come across as a normal guy, no different to ash or winston apart from the fact he isn't exactly considered as 'good looking'.

Not got a clue, Ive never seen him say or do anything wrong

He should chill and enjoy himself instead of asking key people their opinion of him. He seems a bit desperate at times.

Because he came here in week 6.

That's just it, for loads he's 100% different to Winston and Ash who are "lads next door, conventionally good looking, #bantz, footy, booze, birds, Ibiza, magaloof and could easily fit into TOWIE or Geordie Shore". When they see a Pav they see an Asian and moveover someone in a turban ie not like them.

Let's be real here, imo the majority of sort of people who love Winston n Ash ie love struck tweenie girls, young ladies and #bantz blokes who see Winston and Ash as the kind of blokes they can relate to will see Pav as "other". I have yet to see any tweenie girls declare they find Pav hot or a winner.

Asian men I suspect are often not seen a "desirable" in UK mainstream culture, asexual and annoying- unless they are mixed with white ie Jimi Mistry (Corrie), gorgeous Zayn 1D, Siva the Wanted. Undesireable male Asians is a Tv trope, annoyingly. In Big Bang Theory Indian character Raj is the least developed male character and has the least written love life, there's an Asian guy in Rules of Engagement who has no love life, Mindy Kaling shuns Asian suiters in her comedy for white guys, in Eastenders Fatboy and Tamwar are love lorn losers whilst Jay, Steven and Lee Carter all have romantic lives

Even within various Brit Asian communities, sadly a Pav type is seen as too dark.

i think he's disliked coz he's new. don't know what you're all talking about though saying he's not good looking, i think he's pretty damn good looking

Agree. Because he is a newbie. Zoe using the pop idol card gets more attention.

Hmmm.well Chris seems to be on an anti Pav campaign this week.

I agree with you on this, but I've seen some posts about Pav on some sites that are very questionable on how they wasn't banned.

I feel really sorry for him, yes he has been quite boring but he has been up for eviction EVERY week since he arrived and he just seems a bit lost.

I don't think he has a plan either, Danielle admitted she said it as revenge and Matthew is a bitter little bitch.

..I think in that house, it's more difficult for your personality to be projected and the HL are so biased to slanting the audience anyway but he seems like an ok guy to me and I really can't fathom why he has been booed or what he has done for people to not take to him...and personally, I think Zoe is really false and he's much nicer than her....

Because the rest of the cool gang always need a scape goat to vent their feelings/anger towards

In last nights HL's Mark and Christopher were talking about Pav and they were saying they didn't understand why Pav felt as he did as they thought he had integrated well into the group. Then Ashleigh said she'd be mad if he was saying he was isolated by them when he wasn't and they agreed. :conf:

Maybe its just Chris who is finding it hard to accept him and its making Pav feel so insecure that he is thinking everyone else is the same? Or maybe he wants to be seen as an underdog as his game plan? I'm just speculating here, not accusing him of that...
Also in last nights HL's we seen him enjoying himself and the HM's relating to him perfectly well...and Chris had an honest talk with him...:shrug:

I disagree with this Jake, Ashleigh and Chris really dislike Pav, they have both been very vocal about that and they have never been part of the gang that gets dubbed 'the cool gang'.

I think in the house most of the dislike comes from them having watched his VT and then the bullcrap the ex housemates fed them about the newbies.

As for outside the house I have no idea why he seems to be extremely hated, he hasn't done anything wrong IMO and definitely hasn't done anything at all to deserve the boos or the extreme hatred of him.

Chris turned a corner weeks ago with the Hms ,they thought Chris was quiet but two faced in the DR . All was well until Pav came in and he then rehashed the "two faced Chris" that's why Chris is wary of him ,because he has come in and brought Chris back to the earlier weeks , weeks that Chris hated .

I haven't heard Ashleigh say she disliked Pav? :conf: She gives Chris an ear to vent his feelings about him, but from what I've seen that's as far as it goes. :shrug:

Since the ex HM's told them to nominate Pav and then Danielle warned Ashleigh that Pav was perving on her(not the sure of exact word Danielle used) Ashleigh has commented on not liking Pav.

They all have here is when it started .Mark telling them what was said .

Super trustworthy Danielle told Ashleigh that he was perving on Ashleigh which will have influenced her. All quite funny really given that Ashleigh experienced Pav 24 hours a day and would know far more than Danielle ever would. Also, from where I am standing, Chris is the one being a perv, hugging her etc at every opportunity :nono:
