It has done for years, she's the pioneer of the lollipop look. Good on her for doing something meaningful.

I am not

I watched her live speaking
and saying the same thing over and over again
That I hate

Ammi 25-09-2014 06:14 PM

..at least she's saying something though and believes in and is actively supporting her charity..if she didn't, she would probably be criticised for not doing so..it's really important to have celebrities and well known people to raise awareness of these things...

LeatherTrumpet 25-09-2014 06:25 PM

when you have no worries that we all have, bills, mortgage etc you can (when asked) do charity stuff

If she did this off her own bat, well done...but i doubt that

Ammi 25-09-2014 06:32 PM

..it really doesn't matter who it is that is helping charities or whether we like them in other ways, that's not really relevant.... only that they are doing it..it's also so easy to criticise as well but celebrities don't have to do any charity work, they could just not ... and they are considered role models to some so they're I a good position to raise awareness...

Yes Sure
prevent South African babys being born with HIV Aids
not a easy task

Z 25-09-2014 06:35 PM

She just thinks because she's had four kids without HIV/AIDS everyone else can do it. I haven't even had ONE kid yet Victoria :fist:

Some skinny girls can be attractive, but I don't like Praying Mantis looks and the sad thing is that she inflicted it on herself.

..absolutely.. and she's spent time out there to see what is needed to try to help, so all credit to her ..she could just concentrate on her shop/designing clothes or whatever and not bother but she does bother and it's something she takes time out to bother and talk about...

Ammi 25-09-2014 06:40 PM

..or we could all just pick at how she looks instead and then criticise her for her charity work...

..the article wasn't about how she looked though, it has nothing to do with that and it wasn't something she was trying to 'promote'..if she was then it would be relevant but not for this....yeah, it does seem shallow when celebrities do something like this in try to raise awareness in supporting their charity and in sometimes in the media and with the public as well, it's more...ughhhhh, that dress/what has she done to her lips... or something similar....
