I don't understand why Simon and Joel didn't jump to Marc's defense and tell Danny that they had overheard the conversation in the kitchen.

Those two could've piped up at any time and they didn't. Ugh!

Marc didn't rant...but he didn't want to discuss his conversation...however he called Chloe out on being an ear wigger..not once but twice. That's what upset her and he failed to convey that to Danny when he explained what happened.

Actually no. Marc and Helen have not run about dripping poison about them but they have about Marc and Helen. Marc and Helen have not become so aggressive when arguing that frankly I worry for safety in the house unlike the other three.
