So the dozy woman with the inane smile... she couldn't reach up and grab it? Lucky cat, no thanks to her.

If the cat panicked and freaked out by being grabbed it could have ended badly. My mothers cat won't let anyone pick her up including my mother, she'd scratch you to bits if you tried

That's what I thought, she did nothing, she might have got scratched a bit but I think I'de have tried, poor thing,or surely they had something that would have made the cat safer, I am just glad it ended well for the cat.

You'd have to try though... surely. Even if you just held it by the scruff on the neck till it landed.

But there's every chance you'd end up making it worse if you panicked it and it started freaking out

Maybe... but I'm afraid my first instinct would have been to grab it. In fact I'd have crawled out on the wing to grab it and we'd probably both have plunged to our deaths.

Did I tell you my Reggie is diabetic? Found out just before my accident. He has to have two insulin injections a day. Funny thing is he now associates the needle with food and gets all excited. When I poke him with it, he doesn't even look up!

Reg will eat pretty much anything except processed meats, you know... sausage and stuff. I only have to think about opening the fridge and it's like, "Oh, hello Reg, where did you come from?" He loves Dreamies too.

Eddie is the same anytime anyone goes to the kitchen or opens the fridge but then you try to give him some of whatever food you're eatin/getting and he has a sniff and turns his nose up at it lol (unless it's Dreamies of course)

LukeB 23-06-2015 03:08 PM

Me myself would be too scared to get the cat just in-case it panics and something horrible happens.

Yeah, I'd be scared that if I reached out to grab it, the cat would flinch and fall out.
