Getting a bit tired of BB now :)

probs around the 12-18th of August, can't believe were now getting around a 4 week break as BB is finishing like on the 15th!

Is that just guesswork?

I'm sure I heard someone saying they planned on having it wrapped up by the end of August?

There was rumours before the series started that they want a 4 week break between them!

If that's the case, we'll have a September CBB..

No it would end the first week of sept like normal

if BB ends on the 15th July, and CBB launches on 12th August that leaves a 4 week break with it wrapping up about the 9th.

5-7th August, finishing on 4th September.

Is the finale of normal BB mid week? That's so ****, can't even have a few drinks watching it

It hasn't been confirmed. But it sounds plausible and most realistic.

I don't think it will start on 12-18th August, like Will suggested. That seems very late given normal BB is ending mid-July this year. I don't think they'll wait more than a month to start CBB, that would just drag.

Plus, I think they'll want things wrapped up by the first week of September, so I think a Friday 4th September Final would be more plausible than a Friday 11th September Final.

If BB16 finishes 15-17th July, then a 3 week break would be good, with CBB launching on Thursday 6th August, lasting 4 weeks (30 days, to be precise), and ends on Friday 4th September.

Well Ex On The Beach launches on the 11 August, so maybe Monday 10th? Last years Summer CBB launched on a Monday I think.

It would give us nearly a 4 week break.

Or maybe Friday 8th? Anything else is to early, looked what happened with BB ratings when they launched a couple of weeks earlier.

Or maybe the really want a long break to help improve Summers CBB reputation, I mean it could potentially launch on Friday 15th, considering last couple have launched 18-19th

So could even be Monday 18th or Tuesday 19th.

It all depends on what the producers want, personally the longer the break the better.

BIB - It's only like 3 days earlier. That's completely different to a couple of weeks earlier. Plus previous summer CBB's have launched from 15th-22nd August, so a week isn't much of a difference. Whereas, BB16 launched on 12th May, compared to the 5th-15th June launches we've usually gotten in previous years. That's almost a month earlier, not to mention the first May launch in almost ten years. Also the BB16 promo was naff, which is why most never knew about BB16 starting. I highly doubt it will make a difference in ratings. Plus, summer CBB will always rate higher, regardless which day of the month it will start. That's a fact.

I don't see how a longer break would help summer CBB's reputation. As far as I'm aware Summer CBB doesn't have a reputation, it's just something to watch in the late Summer and something to boots Channel 5's ratings.
It's January CBB that has a reputation.

Also you say the longer the break the better. Well, TBH anything longer than 48 hours after the winner of BB is crowned (CBB10, 12, 14) is better. Whether it's 5 days, a week, or even two.
I think 3 weeks is enough. 4 weeks and people will just get sick of waiting.

Plus, knowing Channel 5's promotion for summer CBB (and BB in general), it's only going to be an eye flash with Marcus screaming in the background. So watching these flashes for 4 weeks is going to be a drag.

I'd like a 2 week break - really want it to be done by the time I return to school.

One of the reasons that Channel 5 have launched earlier was that Elstree are starting construction on the new sound stage behind the live set which will disrupt their production of Big Brother.

Big Brother will end in around two weeks leaving a week or two between the final and the launch of Celebrity Big Brother, wrapping by the end of August/first week of September. They won't leave it four weeks between both shows because it's completely unrealistic and won't make sense. If they're trying to make CBB 26 days like last year this will make the most sense.

Hope not... I really want it done by the end of August. Also I don't really want much of a break... Summer's meant to be filled with BB!
