Best/worst launch twist?

I can only comment on BB5-8 and 15 onwards really... But...

Shoot me but I liked BB15's launch night twists. The whole Power HM Was very interesting, and final pass was intriguing.

This year's launch night evicrion was truly awful though... Just pointless and a waste of a HM...

I liked BB5's suitcase noms too.

BB14's one was a good concept but executed awfully, and I really think it turned out to be one of the worst.

This one's was really good on the actual launch night, but as the series went on we just saw it resulted in just about all the housemates getting a luxury budget one week

The eviction was an awful idea, but I liked the other three timebombs. Although because of constant meddling Nick's FTF Noms were redundant.

I've never seen BB14 but I know what the twist was - how was it poorly executed?

Best: I know this is just Civilian but CBB4's twist with Chantelle having to lie about being in a girl band to become a housemate is classic. Best twist. Ever. Makosi's unlucky thirteen twist was also FANTASTIC. Best civilian twist. It was good seeing Makosi having to create all the drama in the house but we found out she was just like that anyway :joker: I think it shows the simpler the twists the better.

Worst: BB12's was just. I can't even put it into words. The whole Pamela Anderson thing and it just felt so so so tacky. Definitely worst twist for me. (BB7 and BB10 had pretty crap launch night twists also)

BB15's Launch Night 1 twist was fine - but a Day 2 pass to the final was...

Not helped by the fact that he was the 'Head of House' because he ran to the Diary Room the fastest.

But things are decided by 'first to get to the DR' all the time??

And it doesn't have to just be civilian!

I've only seen CBB since CBB14 - I liked CBB14's twist. It was simple and fun and although it was made for a particular HM I didn't mind as it didn't affect noms or anything.

CBB15 which I've forgot to mention, is the WORST twist I've seen in any series of BBUK.. It was abominable. Not only was she allowed to pick 2 people to be up for evicrion, but then she had to be nice?! Truly pathetic.

(I can tell you haven't seen many series)

BBCH was hilarious and brilliant to watch at first but I bet if I rewatched it, I wouldn't love it. They've killed the whole earpiece thing since.

BB8 worked well

CBB15's was bad but if you want to see AWFUL I suggest you watch BB12 or CBB11

Well it was pretty much the same as CBB8's for starters (minus the ear piece and pretending to be nice instead of pretending to be a diva)

CBB11's was probably the best Channel 5 CBB launch twist? On paper, at least.

What's wrong with a bit of Pammy A?

And what was the CBB11 launch twist???

CBB8 on paper seems to be just a genuinely awful series, with eight people in te final, only 3 evictions, awful line up and only one set of noms!

The first two Housemates in got to pick who came into the House and who was sent to the 'Basement' (Large task room in disguise).

TomC 25-07-2015 09:45 PM

Sounds pretty naff to me tbh

Oaker 25-07-2015 09:52 PM

It was much better than it sounds, trust me.

TomC 25-07-2015 09:58 PM

I've always found it funny how Rylan has always just been a fame-hunter. Most of the CBB celebrities hate the experience, but I bet he was living the dream!

He was the one who made those basement decisions right?!
