Why the media need to stop body shaming cheryl

I don't think the article states anything a normal person shouldn't be aware of already. It's pretty disgusting and it makes me lol at overweight people on facebook constantly sharing "I'm not fat, I'm curvy" type posts yet they mock her for being "too thin". Yes, she looks gaunt but you wouldn't take the piss out of an underweight family member so why people feel the need to do so towards her/other celebrities is beyond me.

she says she's healthy and others who know her says she's healthy and eating loads and she still gets slack and bullied over it. The HIV joke was actually too far. |
I think she looks ill tbh. I don't think she was always as thin as she is now. But, she was always thin, so even losing 10 lbs can make a big difference...
I'm fat, so I can stand to lose 10 lbs, but for a skinny person, it can be the difference between looking well and looking unwell.. |

I mean while I agree the trolling and 'omg she looks disgusting' stuff is actually pathetic and mean I do think some of the press and comments are from people genuinely concerned about how dramatic her weight loss is, in some episodes of TXF she honestly looked ill to me, I am not being a bitch when I say it because I have had weight issues and been called nasty names for being overweight and underweight myself so I do have sympathy but because of how much her features have changed it was bound to be a talking point really

She looks like death. Deal with it

You can tell, Cheryl, is healthy and happier than ever, so everyone needs to stop the body shaming.
-- Happier maybe, but sorry she does not look healthy recently. Also I see the media attention as no different to how the mags get in a spin if someone gains a couple of pounds  Unfortunately when you work in the spotlight, the media take a rather unhealthy interest in every aspect of your life. |

She doesn't look too bad. Most of the pictures I've seen going around on Facebook are untimely shots and bad angles like Demi's one a couple of months ago and more recently.
Saying that, I can't blame people for thinking she's unhealthy. Perhaps they just need to show their concern in a nicer way. |
She is not a healthy weight. She looks very ill.
|
She needs to start eating food. Simon Cowells spunk isn't enough anymore.

I think in a way, its good that the media is focusing on the fact that it's not a good look, because otherwise, young girls (and some guys) would think that she looks fine and healthy when in reality... she just doesn't.
This is the first time I've ever thought that someone looks too skinny... It's weird, I've always thought that skinny girls were really attractive (hip bones just do something to me... anyway) and now it makes me feel a little ill and a little sad. She doesn't look healthy and she doesnt look happy, And to be totally honest, I think she's on something and I am a little worried for her (even though i dont care for her at all) |

She looks visibly ill, imo, she is not a healthy thin, she looks skeletal,I don't like the woman but have to admit in her Girls Aloud days she looked pretty and healthy She needs someone to tell her and advise her instead of all the money hungry enablers she has around her.
