10,000 BC: Two Tribes [Series 1 & 2 Available on My5 | Probably Axed]
Channel 5 love a good subtitle, don't they?
Here's a press release about the second series:
Quote:
Returning to Channel 5 w/c 18th January 2016
Channel 5 sent a group of people back to the Stone Age... but this time, they are not alone.
From dehydration to extreme weight loss and near-death experiences, a journey on an epic scale faces 24 modern day Brits in the harsh extremes of Bulgaria. Welcome to 10,000BC, TV’s toughest social experiment.
The 10-part series, shot in a remote part of Bulgaria during the summer, explores whether a group of everyday people - taken from their 21st Century lifestyle and plunged headlong into the Stone Age - can survive the experience for two testing months.
And this time, there’s a twist. The human trial is taken to another dimension as - initially unbeknown to each other - not one but two groups enter the landscape. Forced to compete for the scarce resources and rustic shelters, will the tribes choose to work together or in competition in the quest to survive this epic endurance test?
Pushed to their physical, mental and emotional limits, the adventurers are stripped of everything connected with their modern lifestyles – comfy clothing, mobile phones and deodorant - and given zero contact with the outside world.
To stay alive they have to source their own food and master their surroundings. Unless they learn to fish, forage and hunt - they will starve.
Not only must they battle with the dramatic and immediate lifestyle transition but also Mother Nature, as they cope with dramatic thunder and hail storms, extreme temperatures and a hungry pack of jackals, not to mention hunger and sickness. But their true enemy was their egos, as they battled for the survival of their tribes.
No one comes back from the Stone Age unchanged. For many it was a truly life-changing experience.
10,000 BC is co-produced by The Garden and GME for Channel 5.

It sounds (sort of) interesting, but I still think that some form of prize/eliminations are needed. Even Hunted have included a prize fund for their second series.
Also it appears that the spin-off that was on MTV has been cancelled, so...
