Apart from Tiff lyin about Angie sayin David Gest was dead how can a puppet b fave?

Apart from Tiff lyin that Angie said David Gest was dead which meant she should have been kicked out a long time ago

HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO IS A PUPPET OF GEMMA'S AND A WIMP BE FAVE ?

Being a wimp is not usually thought to be a quality people vote for.

Especially when it goes against the image she has created about herself that she is a firebrand.

And it was also wrong of her to tell Darren she fancied him so much when she knows that he has a wife, trying to tempt him to betray her which it was fairly clear he never would do.

Carl Jayson 25-01-2016 02:50 PM

Her lying was iconic and provided the most watched/iconic moment of the series. I am not mad at her and neither are the GP (hence why she's favourite to win :clap1:) so you're in the minority here, sorry!

Can't wait for her to win though, we'll get to see it all over again in her winner best bits :clap1:

Because she's brilliant. Get over it.

Jack_ 25-01-2016 02:52 PM

Wait what, she should have been kicked out for 'David's dead' gate? :umm2:

I know I've not been on here much this series but surely there's not a single fan of this show who didn't think that whole incident was one of the funniest things to ever happen on Big Brother? :umm2: surely not? Don't tell me she actually somehow got criticised for something so hilarious? Am I missing something here?

I don't even believe she genuinely out right lied about it either, I think she really thought Angie meant David Gest. I mean that's probably what most of them would have thought considering he's the only David they've had contact with and the fact he'd been ill

wendywillow 25-01-2016 03:05 PM

so now that tiff is a fav we're getting "how can people support her ??" posts
a) she didn't "lie" about david, I think everyone with common sense knows that. she got mixed up in the moment
b) the Darren come on was funny. I don't think shes going to attack him in his sleep
c) I do admit I don't like to see her falling under Gemmas spell but you gotta have a friend in the house and she might have no choice, shes definately not a wimp (as she proved at face to face noms)

Three very good points. Especially point a).

I wasn't really supporting Tiffany for the win, but then I can't think of any other housemate that I would want to win. I guess I wouldn't be uspet if Tiff or Steph won...anyone else would be boring.

*predictably raises hand* I found it more uncomfortable than anything if I'm being honest. I was much more entertained when it shifted to John Partridge being a ****ing twat and trying to run her out of the house and all the subsequent drama.

Exactly...which is what made it so funny because it was a genuine mistake. Angie said 'David's dead' assuming Tiffany would realise she was talking about Bowie, but since they were living with a David and Tiffany probably didn't know all that much about Angie's past it's entirely understandable why she would make the mistake

I don't get how anyone could think it was deliberate :conf: and more to the point, I don't get how anyone couldn't think it was one of the funniest things to ever happen on this show...the whole thing was comedy gold

Laughing at the thought of people thinking Tiff is under Gemma's spell as if she is some little naive upstart. She understands Gemma and gets on with her, and that's about it. In the DR the other night she was saying how Gemma making up with Steph was only because Dani had done it first.
Tiff can read people so well - she has John's measure too.
She isn't the viewers favourite for being Gemma's sidekick, they aren't taken in that easily.

Well I can understand finding John's overreaction and the isolation of Tiffany uncomfortable cause that was all pathetic, but for the genuine mistake it was it was absolutely hilarious...the whole thing couldn't have been set up more perfectly what with there being another David and everything. Tiffany's wailing, the 'when did it happen?' 'just now', and then her rushing to tell everyone while Angie thought she was just overreacting to her actual news, them all running into the bedroom, Darren's 'there was a split second today when I thought David Gest was dead' :joker: :joker: :joker: from start to finish the whole thing was hilarious

If Tiffany just followed Gemmas lead, why would she have taken Stephs side in Knicker gate?

Was she making Gemmas bed at the time, or did Gemma want something carrying ? She followed Gemma,Dani out of the task room, shouting abuse at Steph, until the penny dropped and she bottled it and went back into the house

I've never laughed at anything on BB or CBB before as much as I laughed at that. It was hysterical. :joker:

The wrong David thing was hilarious but John trying to force Tiff out was uncomfortable.

You didn't really answer my question. Steph is Gemmas arch enemy yet Tiffany was the only one besides Jeremy who was on her side in knickergate, not very lapdog like behaviour

k I'm not on mobile anymore so I can respond better now. I definitely agree that the whole thing was set up perfectly and you can't make **** up like David Gest being ill and being in bed, but I still found the whole thing to be more "eek" than "haha." Tiffany screaming that Angie's an OLD BITCH and refusing to apologize to her, all the coded language about Tiffany being "unsafe" and "harmful," C5 marketing on David Bowie's death as a coming attraction if we want to take it back to the episode prior, etc. And, like, as much as we all love New York, she was a complete idiot insisting that Angie said David Gest. I'm sure this is gonna be taken as me clutching my pearls or group me in with the cat ladies on FB, but I thought a lot of her behavior was insensitive and dumb. That being said, so was a lot of other people's behavior when they were trying to get Tiffany removed from the house, but that's a whole nother issue.

The actual best source of comedy that episode for me was Gemma Collins, but what else is new

All of this I actually agree with, the 'tomorrow' preview was in very poor taste, the language they were using to describe Tiffany was certainly questionable and her refusal to accept she had made a mistake was unnecessary, but all of what you've described either happened before or after the actual incident itself. There were certainly parts like you've explained that were uncomfortable, but I'm referring specifically to the scene in which Angie said 'David's dead', Tiffany started screaming and wailing, and then they all ran into the bedroom. All of that was, as a genuine mistake, very funny :joker: it was just the way it was handled afterwards that was a shame

first it was, she's crazy and out of control, then she was stupid, then she was boring, then she was a slut, now shes a lapdog.
tiff could cure cancer and some people would find a reason to hate her.

Luckily though (and bad for them) the haters are in the minority and she remains favourite to win! :joker:
