BOTS Fight - charges dropped by CPS.

Celebrity Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace will no longer face charges for allegedly throwing champagne at Farrah Abraham after The Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case.

It was confirmed on Friday by the CPS that Aisleyne will not face trial after a five month probe into the incident, which saw the Brit TV star and US reality star come to blows, trading insults on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side in September.

The 37-year-old's trial was rumoured to be costing taxpayers £15,000 after she was accused of launching her drink at the CBB contestant on the live show.

A source said: "The CPS saw the finally saw the evidence from the show and agreed Aisleyne had no case to answer.

"Aisleyne stuck to her guns and was prepared to have her day in court. Thankfully the CPS decided she did no wrong, unlike two of her co-panellists."

Another evictee, Janice Dickinson, 60, allegedly threw a chair at Farrah and has previously received a police caution.

Aisleyne refused to accept a caution at the time and the CPS went ahead with an assault charge.

Farrah claims to have been injured by the champagne incident at Channel 5’s Elstree Studios.

Aisleyne, was accused of criminal damage to Farrah's dress, denied charges at a hearing in Stevenage last Monday.

A trial had been set to take place in March with host Rylan Clark, actress Vicki Michelle and two producers expected to give evidence.

It was claimed that US star Farrah could have been flown back to the UK to testify in the hearing at the taxpayers' expense because a videolink would be at 2am in Los Angeles.

The row led to CBBBOTS being pulled off air for 10 minutes and 'Allo Allo star Vicki Michelle, who was also on the panel, being rushed to hospital.

At the time Hertfordshire police confirmed they had launched an investigation into what happened on the show.

A statement given to Mirror Celeb read: "Hertfordshire Constabulary received a report at 10.55pm on the evening of Tuesday, September 22nd regarding an incident which is alleged to have occurred in the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. The incident occurred a short time before the call.

"Officers are currently making inquiries to establish the exact circumstances of what happened and will release further details when appropriate."

The CPS told the Sun: "We consider all cases in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors."

Yeah, instigating the brawl in the first place equates to doing "no wrong".
