Best contestant ever?? Singing wise only!!

Taking into account only singing voices only I'm gonna go with Andrea Faustini as the best singer of all 12 series. I think Louisa Johnstone would come close though!

Last year's series is very underated as Louisa, Che, 4th Power, Anton, Mason, Max & Seann were all outstanding and even ones who didn't make it to live shows like Jennifer Phillips I'd consider an X Factor legend in my books as well. Every singer mentioned is better than most in the chart right now.

Brenda Edwards was pretty good! But I think on an international level Lillie McCloud who was on X factor USA and came a rubbish 8th! Her earlier performances were phenomenal! Mind you Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke are pretty good, but I also like subtle performers like Janet Devlin but she is marmite to a lot of people, male wise there isn't a lot of good ones but olly Murs was a good performer on the show and had a decent voice I just don't like his recent music

Vocals are gonna be down to genres of Music that people like for the most part, but I'll try to be fair.

I'll say that Aiden Grimshaw, Luke Friend, Leona Lewis, Lauren Platt, Alexandra Burke, Rhydian Roberts, Ruth Lorenzo, Paije Richardson, Hannah Barrett, Seann Miley Moore.

To answer about Max to the OP, I really thought that he had potential, I just feel that he needed to understand his sound a bit more though instead of trying to sing a genre that he likes.

It'd be my best advice to him going forward in Music.

No offense but all of us on here could outsing Olly Murs.:joker:

All of the Rock and Indie males could outsing him in their sleep.

I tend to like male singers a lot more just cuz of that depth in some of them, especially black soul singers like Luther vandross or stevie wonder. I was obsessed with Anton when he was on, one of the best singers I've ever heard yet most people just brushed him off as irrelevant.

Just go with who you like, I personally didn't mind Anton either, but I know that he was a bit controversial just because he was dated, which I don't care about too much, unless the singer has other bad qualities like shouting out every lyric, overwarbling, posing during performances, or forgetting their lyrics frequently etc.
