Honey G drags Jesy Nelson & Lily Allen

Quote:

HONEY G has blasted her celebrity haters, branding them “jealous”.

The X Factor star has been the subject of negative comments from stars including Lily Allen, Professor Green, Jesy Nelson and Sinitta during her time on the ITV show.

But speaking on a Facebook live with Dan Wootton, she put them in their place with some strong words of her own.

The rapper said: “ These people saying this sort of stuff they don’t know who they’re messing with.”

Honey G, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, was recently labelled an “actress” by Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, who claims her presence on the X Factor is an act.

But the star hit back, saying Jesy’s comments were “ridiculous”.

She said: “I mean literally that’s one of the most ridiculous things that I’ve ever heard. It’s annoying and obviously it’s quite insulting to be called an actress. I’ve been a musician the whole of my life.”

Honey G told Dan Wootton she had had enough of people doubting her hip-hop credentials

“I’ve got a musical background I’ve got a degree from one of the best universities for music production.

“I’ve been rapping and producing for about 15 years. I’m also involved closely with BBC Radio 1Xtra which is the UK’s biggest black music radio station.

“So yeah, she needs her head checked because she doesn’t really know what she’s chatting about.”

As for Lily Allen, 31, who has said she finds Honey G’s act “offensive”, the rap artist threw some shade of her own saying it’s just jealousy.

Honey G insisted: “She’s obviously feeling threatened by a white woman coming onto the scene and rapping and coming out and smashing it and shutting the whole thing down.

"I think she’s being spiteful and malicious. She’s got a sharp tongue.

“She’s obviously saying this type of thing out of spite - she’s being spiteful. I don’t see how she can say she finds it offensive. She’s not exactly the spokesperson of the black community. She better take her jealousy elsewhere.”

She is an actress though her family and colleagues have admitted she's nothing like the 'Honey G' persona.

speaking a few words is not rapping love

LukeB 10-11-2016 08:55 PM

I have no idea why she's called Jesy jealous when she's in the biggest girl band this era and making loads of money. I'm not a big fan of Jesy but i rather be her than Honey G.

 Some delusion too. She ought to sing a Country Music crossover with Rap - CRAP. Oh - that's right, she already does.

Dont be, Lily deserves it after those comments

Jake. 10-11-2016 09:45 PM

real original and not at all delusional

Babayaro. 10-11-2016 09:48 PM

The thing is though, if a genuine rapper entered the competition they wouldn't get very far. Look at MK1 for example, who weren't the best tbf, but still. At least they were credible artists. So I do understand why people are saying it's offensive to that particular style of music. I blame the producers more than Honey G though.

Honey really shut it down

Honey G winning would be the perfect ray of sunshine to end a tragic year.

I don't know what's right and what's real anymore
And I don't know how I'm meant to feel anymore
When do you think it will all become clear?
Cause I'm being taken over by the fear

armand.kay 11-11-2016 06:40 AM

I kind of hope she wins this year tbh because that's what you get for still watching this rigged trash

Strictly Jake 11-11-2016 08:33 AM

Genuinely want her to win just to see what happens when a novelty act gets too far but se all know she will not get past the top 6, I do feel the show would be even more bland without her though this years acts are poor

LeatherTrumpet 11-11-2016 09:02 AM

She is the Donald Trump of rap and the hataaz cannot handle her truth
