You can expect much more of Louis Walsh on The X Factor in 2017.

The Irish boyband manager reunited with old pal Simon Cowell on The X Factor judging panel after a year way this autumn - but it's only a taste of more fun to come.

When asked by Digital Spy and other media if he'll sign up for more, Louis revealed: "Yes, I'm back next year. I've signed for the next two years."

So, that's two judges sort (Simon and Louis) - and two more to go if The X Factor wants to reunite the entire 2016 panel on ITV next year.

Also at Thursday's (December 8) X Factor finale press conference, Sharon Osbourne admitted that there's one massive roadblock in the way of her signing up for series 14.

"I would love to come back again," she beamed. "I would love to but I'm in a difficult position that I'm signed to CBS in America and I've been doing [The Talk] for 7 years and I work with amazing women... it's up to Simon if I come back."

yaaasss :cheer2: his return was much needed, Grimmy was so bad

Interesting that Sharon does seem keen to return this time around but her commitment to The Talk might pose a problem, I seem to remember reading last time around CBS weren't particularly happy with the arrangement

This panel is perfect and must remain the same, if nothing else just for some consistency for once

How can anyone justify another series of this show let alone 2!? It's been overdue axing for about 3 years now.
