Anyone else feel bad for Austin?

I do dislike him and all but this house vote thing is so dumb. Do they not know people hate house votes after a good THREE years?? Nobody deserves to go out like that. Not Austin. Not Chelsea. Not Lateysha. Not Ryan. Not Sam Kay. Not anybody. Call me crazy, but maaaybe production don't listen to what the public say. Just a thought :hehe:

Firewire 13-01-2017 10:07 PM

Hmmm... no.

Yes. Can't stand him but it was just horrendous. I don't really think they should do evictions without public votes even though Jason offing Lateysha was arguably one of the best moments of that series and so unexpected :D

Xtopher 13-01-2017 10:10 PM

I had some sympathy

Amy Jade 13-01-2017 10:10 PM

I felt so bad for him! No one really cared when he left Hell, he was on the verge of crying and then he didn't get best bits! I feel so so bad for him

Withano 13-01-2017 10:13 PM

Not at all, if he didnt bully and argue and sleep all day, he'd still be in there. Hes still getting paid.

Black Dagger 13-01-2017 10:13 PM

No. Karma for being a terrible human being, two series on the trot.

I think it's unfair people voted to save him,and BB chose t do that,:fist:

Denver 13-01-2017 10:15 PM

The people saying no would be crying if it was their fave though

Jamie89 13-01-2017 10:16 PM

Not really tbh, mainly because I didn't like him  but also he knew what he was getting into by doing the show. Didn't something similar happen to Farrah in his series? (and didn't he play a part in evicting her?), it's just part of doing reality TV.

Natalie. 13-01-2017 10:16 PM

Yeah, I'd feel bad for anyone going like that tonight

Jason. 13-01-2017 10:17 PM

No, and I still like him on CBB16.

I feel very sorry for him especially when it was so close a vote with several of the housemates getting two votes. Love him or hate him he was very entertaining and a good friend to my favourite Jas.

Same tbh

muchadoaboutnothing 13-01-2017 10:18 PM

Noooooooooo. He was (is) such a nasty person that what goes round comes round and in this case Karma did justice and I loved the fact that none of the HMs took any notice of him leaving.

I liked him on CBB16 though but if i re-watched it now, I wouldn't like him at all because i hate him.

parmnion 13-01-2017 10:19 PM

He left with dignity as the others showed thier ignorance and selfishness by ignoring him as he went.

That is how it works though?

Lush 13-01-2017 10:19 PM

I'm not really sorry for him, but I'm kinda worried for Stacy.

She was receiving a lot of good will because of his treatment of her. Although the way he treated Stacy was pretty vile so at least she doesn't have to put up with that anymore.

rusticgal 13-01-2017 10:21 PM

Love him or hate him...he wasn't the most boring tbf.

jet 13-01-2017 10:21 PM

Don't like the guy at all, but I've always said only the public should choose who to evict and I stand by that. People who voted to save him tonight must feel ripped off. I did feel sorry for him when nobody even waved him goodbye when he went up the stairs. That was kind of sad.
Apart from all that, I'd rather dull as dishwater Callum had gone, but Austin was the next best thing for me. But it's a shame he was ignored like that and not even get any best bits...

I didn't like him in CBB19 but I don't see why your CBB16 opinion of him would change just because of his second appearence when you originally liked him? Surely his CBB19 appearance wouldn't change what you liked about him two years ago on a completely different series? It's like someone going off Aisleyne's BB7 appearance just because they didn't like her in BB16. I get people's opinions change with rewatches but it hasn't been that long and it seems you'd probably still like him if it wasn't for CBB19. I judge both stints seperately tbh. I still appreciate his appearance the first time but not so much the second time round. I couldn't care less about about him (or any other HM) as people outside the show because I don't know them personally and I don't really keep up with any of the HM's after the show has ended.

Amy Jade 13-01-2017 10:42 PM

He was awful in CBB16 too you were all too busy hating on Farrah and worshipping Austin taking up rental in James's arse.

He was vile to Gail, Janice and Chloe for absolutely no reason.

because a re-watch is after CBB19 and i would still have a hate feeling towards Austin. He was basically the same in CBB16 really but I put it a side. you know that episode of how i met your mother, where no one knew their bad traits until someone mentioned it and you hear a glass smash in their head and they finally saw it, it's like that. I could be wrong and like him again because i haven't actually re-watched it but there's like 95% i would not like him.

Emma said she thought that was because they think he has not been evicted and gone into another house,so maybe it was that but it was still ignorant of them

I don't know about other's, but that's certainly not why I liked him during CBB16.

And I've never once said Austin was an angel during his first stint either. And let's not pretend Farrah wasn't just as much of a **** as he was.

EspeonBB 13-01-2017 10:45 PM

No

Although I'll admit that if the same thing happened to someone I liked I would be pissed off

smudgie 13-01-2017 10:47 PM

I love surprise evictions, spices up the American a bit?
