Im doing Birmingham end of this month and Manchester again.

No its pointless

The only pride i do is circuit parties.

Why is it pointless?

come let your hair down

Its just gays partying in a street when you can do it in a club like everyone else

why go to restaurants when you can eat at home

That is different though

so is going to a club and a festival with live music, outdoors, and people from all over :tongue:

Tbf, I've never really went either.. I just was intrigued why people thought it was pointless to do so. I dont think 'its pointless cos clubs exist' is a great argument for this reason

Yes you are only allowed if you got a STI

i usually go to the one here but don't think I'll bother this year, I've no friends in the LGBT community and I've experienced it already

No :laugh: It's like a big street party/festival (depending where you go and how big it is), the manchester one normally lasts a few days and they put on concerts and events and things. You go to pride for the atmosphere imo,

Never been, I'm not comfortable in the LGBT community yet but once I find peace with it then maybe it'll be something I can enjoy in the future

I have never been to one but i've been in the town centre in Cardiff before when the parade was taking place. Saw the crowd marching in leather and fluffy boas and all sorts . I think it's good fun. You wouldn't catch me in leather, but I don't see anything wrong with adding a bit of colour and fun to the streets. Don't want to take to part? Fine, but don't spoil the fun for the others! R.

Manchester Pride is a great weekend - for everyone. Great atmosphere, big acts and a laugh. Gets bigger every year and very little trouble considering the numbers that attend (and its in Manchester lol). I've gone most years since it started in the early 2000s. I'd well recommend people go - whatever orientation you are...its a great weekend
